ZIMBABWE CRUSADE ENDS WITH A PENTECOSTAL OUTPOURING

We just ended the second of our two Gospel Crusades in Zimbabwe.

What a night it was! A Huge Crowd had gathered on this Final Night of our Crusade. We saw a HUGE Multitude Saved, and Thousands Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. As the Holy Ghost Fell, people began to worship God in other tongues, with people falling to the ground under the Power of God.

The also Lord confirmed His Word with many wonderful Signs, Wonders and Miracles. Deaf ears were opened, Tumors disappeared. One lady had a huge tumor the size of a lemon growing on her leg, and she was also almost totally blind being able to see only a couple of feet ahead of her. She was completely healed. Many others were healed from all kinds of diseases and infirmities.

All Glory to our Wonderful Lord Jesus!!!!

I fly in the morning to Nice, France to preach there for my dear friends Pastors John and Laura Madan. From there on to Greece for a Crusade in Athens by the Foursquare Church.

VICTORY IN DZIVARESEKWA, ZIMBABWE!

Dzivaresekwa ZIMBABWE: A Good ending to our Crusade tonight. Thousands received Jesus. Many people Healed. Deaf ears opened, including a totally deaf Muslim man who also received Christ. A lady paralyzed after a stroke ran and danced. A boy who could see only a few feet received perfect sight. We ended the night with much Dancing & Praising God. All Glory to our Lord Jesus!

GREAT THINGS HAPPENING IN DZIVARESEKWA, ZIMBABWE!

We are in the middle of our Crusade in Dzivaresekwa Zimbabwe.

This is a small Crusade compared to some of our other Gospel Campaigns. The nights are cold and it has rained quite a bit. Yet the crowds are growing every night and thousands of people are responding to the altar calls for salvation every night!

The Lord is doing wonderful miracles. Deaf ears are being opened, a couple of people who were almost totally blind and could only see a couple of feet in front of them, and that too as if looking through darkness and haze, have received perfect sight. A young girl born totally deaf and mute received her hearing on one ear and began to speak, but I will have her testify when God opens her other ear also. Some have had difficulties walking and moving and they have been healed.

AFRICA CRUSADES FINAL REPORT

We just finished our two crusades in Zambia and I am in Amsterdam right now. As I write, follow-up work has started and we are trusting God for great church growth as a fruit of our crusades.

Thank you to those who supported and sponsored these crusades financially and prayed for us during this time.

We were blessed to see huge multitudes receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior every single night, and we thus saw a massive harvest of souls come into the Kingdom of God. On the last night of our second crusade (held in George, Zambia) we saw (by my conservative estimate) around 25,000 people mightily Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. All Glory to the Lord Jesus!

We saw the Lord confirm His Word with signs following..... deaf ears opening, the lame walking, blind eyes opened and the demon-possessed set free. I am attaching some pictures here, and in the days to come will post some videos too.

Thank you for standing with us! In April/May we have two crusades planned for Zimbabwe and one for Athens, Greece. Do remember to uphold us in prayer!

PENTECOSTAL FIRE FALLS! George, ZAMBIA. Final Night

Once again a huge multitude responded to the Altar Call tonight. The Fire of God Fell.... around 25,000 Baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire. Innumerable miracles, and I could not get the testimonies because the lack of time and the chaos and ensued. Deaf and blind people healed. A... man who was demon-possessed and mute for many years was set free began to speak clearly. A lady who was lame, unable to stand or walk and went around in a hand-propelled cart got up and walked..... What a wonderful Jesus we serve!

I leave tomorrow for Amsterdam where I will have a Faster Internet connection, and from there I will post some exciting photos and videos!

A lady who could not stand but was propped up by others ran and danced. A man unable to stand or walk after a severe stroke walked and ran. A lady who couldn't walk but was carried around by her family walked and ran perfectly!

George Crusade ZAMBIA: 3rd Night. A huge multitude received Jesus tonight. The Lord did many miracles and many demon-possessed were delivered. Lots of deaf ears opened tonight. A young girl who was paralyzed, walked. A young man paralyzed in one leg was also healed and ran for joy! Incredible numbers healed with people pressing forward to testify, it was chaotic and many could not to do so. The bottom line, above all things, is that our Lord Jesus is being Glorified!

THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL AT THE GEORGE CRUSADE IN ZAMBIA

2nd Night. Thousands came to Jesus tonight. The Prayer Tent was full of demon-possessed who fell down screaming as I proclaimed the Mighty Name of our Lord Jesus. Many deaf people were healed. A Lady who was almost totally blind and could only see dimly about 4 feet in front of her received perfect sight. A little boy who was paralyzed and could only drag his foot behind him got up and walked. Many others were healed from different diseases!. Our Lord Jesus was Glorified!

Orissa in Northern India is one of the staunchest Hindu regions of India. This is supposedly the home of “Jagannath” (Sanskrit for “The prince of the world”), one of the major deities of Hinduism’s 330 million gods and goddesses. This is the State where Hindu fanatics have often burned churches and brutally persecuted and killed Christians.

I used to minister extensively in Orissa in the late 80’s, holding open air crusades and planting churches in unreached areas of the state.

This story is from when I went to hold a crusade in the town of Jeodegri in the Phulbani District of Orissa. The Hindu Extremist organization RSS had gone on a rampage and had beaten up and killed Christians and burnt around 20 churches in the area.

My team and I stayed in a crumbling old “Mission House” over 100 years old built by missionary pioneers of old. We realized that we were walking in the footsteps of men and women of God who had gone before us and had paid a heavy price sowing the precious seed of the Gospel in such a difficult and heathen land. Now it was our turn. We were there, sent by God over two centuries after the first missionary pioneers, treading on the very soil where the blessed feet of those brave men and women of old had once trod. We were there to reap with joy where they had sown the precious seed of the Gospel so long ago, and with so many tears. The harvest was ripe and God had sent us to the wild region of Phulbani to preach the Gospel of Jesus. He had sent us to proclaim the total victory of Jesus over all the powers of Satan.

This was the first ever Gospel crusade held in the area, and multitudes had come expecting great things from God. The crusade was to be held in the daytime, because most of the people had to walk through the surrounding jungles teeming with dangerous wild animals in order to get to the crusade from their homes, and then back home again. Many had come from afar, carrying their sick relatives and friends with them, and were sleeping under the trees and had decided to stay there until God touched them.

There was such faith and expectation there that it broke us, humbled us. The expectations of the impoverished people who had gathered there in Jeodegri were far greater than my faith.

This is a most important thing to understand. When God does great miracles, Christians often make the mistake of giving credit to the minister who God uses at the time. The truth (at least that is what I have experienced in my life), is that over 90% of the miracles that God does through my ministry are because of the faith and the expectations of the people. Less than 10% is because of the gifting of God upon my life. I am totally dependent upon the people seeing Jesus through my preaching. If I can only get them to the point where they only “see” Jesus and don’t see me anymore, THAT is when miracles begin to flow! It is Jesus and Him alone. We are merely servants and conduits of His power. Yes, God will give us all things, but He will only glorify His Son Jesus. He will never share His glory with another.

Yes, I believe in the boldness and confidence that comes by faith; but true boldness, confidence and faith spring forth only from the place of brokenness, when we realize and say that “without Jesus I am nothing!” Once we come to that place of death, we rise to life, where we can say, “But I am not without Jesus, I live in Him, and He lives in me. Because I am nothing, He is everything in and through me!”

Now, THAT is true confidence in God. We place no confidence in the flesh. That is why we must live in the place of brokenness and dying to self every day, so that we may also daily live in the resurrected, victorious life of Christ. O what a glorious paradox! THIS is the place where God can cause His power to flow through us and around us, bringing life and healing… And then we can say, “All glory to Jesus, because He alone is worthy!”

The crusade started with an explosion of God’s power. All kinds of miracles began to happen all over the crowd. Blind eyes were opened and crippled people got up and walked. The Holy Ghost moved over the people. God was all over the place! It was indescribable.

On the second day the crowd had doubled. We had a good crusade service with thousands coming to Jesus and many being healed from different diseases and infirmities.

Here I want to skip the details and go to the “Divine Fireworks” of the third day. A huge crowd had gathered to hear the Gospel. The presence of God was tangible and one could feel it in the air… I preached the Word of God and invited sinners to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Thousands responded. Then I began to pray for the sick en masse.

First were the deaf… many deaf people received their hearing as God healed them. Then the blind… people began to scream as they saw blind people around them receive their sight. Such is the wonder working power of our Lord Jesus!

And then I prayed for the lame, the crippled.

The power of God fell, and right in front of me I saw several lame people get up and walk. I saw a mother pick up her son who was born lame, and the boy began to walk. People were shouting and praising God all over the place.

Then suddenly I heard a lot of noise and commotion from the back of the multitude. The crowd began to part and make way for a man making his way to the front from the very back of the crowd. He was walking with his arms held aloft, shouting, “Jesus is Alive! Jesus is Alive.” People were shouting and crying.

When he reached the front he stepped up upon the platform and grabbed the microphone from my interpreter. The interpreter looked terrified. The crowd suddenly fell silent. The man now faced the crowd and shouted into the microphone in Hindi “Yesu Masih ki Jai!” which means “Jesus is Victorious!” He shouted this again and again. The crowd, upon seeing and hearing this man shouting the praises of God, came unglued. People were shouting and praising God at the top of their voices. Some were screaming, others were running and jumping. In moments, the place went from order to total chaos.

The man now stepped off the platform and started walking away, shouting, “Jesus is Alive! Jesus is Alive!” Thousands of people detached themselves from the crowd and excitedly began to follow the man, shouting and yelling at the top of their voices as he walked away praising God with his hands held high.

I had never seen anything like this before. After the service I noticed the unusual excitement among the pastors and asked them about what had happened. It was then that they told me this amazing story…

This man who was walking around and shouting “Jesus is Alive!” was the main leader of the Hindu-extremist RSS. He was born crippled and could only stand and move with a pair of large and robust crutches. He was the leader of the group that had terrorized Christians and burnt down churches. He had such a fearsome reputation for brutality that when Christian women would see him coming hobbling on his crutches leading his gang of RSS thugs, they would pick up their babies and run into the jungles. They would rather face the wild animals instead of this man.

He had heard about our crusade and that Hindus were coming to Christ. This had made him furious, and he had decided to go and see for himself. He had come to the crusade in a jeep with his RSS thugs following in a bus. He had stood at the back of the crowd and watched the service livid with anger. Soon he and his gang would make their move and spread mayhem and destruction.

And then came the time when I began to pray for the crippled and the lame. Totally unexpectedly, God touched him right where he stood. The power of Jesus Christ surged through his body like high-voltage electricity. His followers standing around him saw him shake and tremble violently. Then they saw his crutches go flying in different directions. He was standing on his own legs without support for the first time in his life. He was amazed, shocked and did not really grasp what had happened to him. Still shocked, he lifted his hands up in the air and began to walk forward through the crowd, shouting again and again, “Jesus is Alive! Jesus is Alive!” The people turned around and saw who it was. Stupefied and awestruck, they made way for him as he walked towards the platform.

What a wonderful Jesus we serve! There is none other like Him!

Revival broke loose in Phulabani District because of this. Over 70 churches were started in the wake of our crusade, and churches that that were dead and dying had received a fresh infusion of life and experienced a fresh move of God.

There is a heartwarming end to this story. Twelve years after this incident I was teaching at my friends Rev Sam and Dawn Taylor’s Bible School in south India. They had 700 students from all over India and from Nepal that year, and the classes were interpreted simultaneously into 14 different languages. Students from that school go out all over India and plant churches in many difficult places.

One morning whilst teaching, I encouraged the students, telling them that we should never fear what man or the devil might want to do to hinder us from preaching the Gospel to sinners. I told them that the RSS was nothing before the power of God, and that He who lives in us is greater than he that is in the world. I then related the story of the crusade in Jeodegri 12 years ago, and about how God had dealt with the RSS leader and brought revival.

After the class was over a student in his early 20s walked up to me with tears running down his cheeks. He said, “Pastor Christopher, I was there! I was a little 10 year old boy and my mother took me to that meeting. I sat on my mother’s lap in front of the platform. I remember all the people and all the miracles. A boy I knew who was born crippled got up and began to walk. I saw how that RSS leader was healed. It was at that meeting that I received Jesus, and then I heard the voice of God calling me to preach the Gospel. That is why I am here to learn the Word of God so that I can go out into ministry.” He then added, “There are 10 of here at this Bible School from Jeodegri. We were all small children, and we received Jesus at that meeting and we all heard the voice of God calling us to service for Him. Now we are all here together, preparing to go out to serve God.”

Tears came to my eyes. I looked at this young man, hugged him and we cried. I was greatly encouraged… Yes, it was all worth it. All the sacrifices we missionaries and our families have to make to get the Gospel out to the lost; it is worth it all!

One day we shall go Home to be with Jesus. We shall march in through the gates of Glory. What a joyous day that will be! We shall stand there rejoicing before the Throne of the Lamb together with millions of souls redeemed from every tribe, nation and tongue… the fruit of the labors of missionaries and of those who sent them out, prayed for them, supported them… all dressed in white, all washed in the Blood of the Lamb!

Yes, the price paid is worth it all!

Jesus has triumphed over all the powers of satan! Our Pastors Conference is also going well, with over 375 Pastors from 3 countries in attendance.

Powerful Forgiveness!

Many Americans were moved by the Vietnam-era Pulitzer Prize-winning photo of 9-year-old Phan Thi Kim Phuc (pronounced fuke), naked and horribly burned, running from a napalm attack. But for John Plummer, minister of Bethany United Methodist church in Purcellville, Virginia, that picture had special significance.

In 1972 he was responsible for setting up the air strike on the village of Trang Bang--a strike approved after he was twice assured there were no civilians in the area. In June of 1996 he saw a network news story about Kim Phuc and learned she was not only alive but living in Toronto. Plummer found out she was speaking at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. He invited members of a Vietnam helicopter flight crew to attend the speech with him. As Kim Phuc addressed the crowd, she said that if she ever met the pilot of the plane she would tell him she forgives him and that they cannot change the past but she hoped they could work together in the future. Plummer was able to get word to Kim Phuc that the man she wanted to meet was there.

"She saw my grief, my pain, my sorrow," Plummer wrote in an article in the Virginia Advocate. "She held out her arms to me and embraced me. All I could say was, 'I'm sorry; I'm so sorry,' over and over again. At the same time she was saying, 'It's all right; it's all right; I forgive; I forgive.'" Plummer learned that Kim Phuc became a Christian in 1982. -- Evangelical Press News cited in Beacon (4/97). Leadership, Vol. 17, no. 4

CRACKED AND BROKEN VESSELS

An elderly Chinese woman had two large earthen jars, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her shoulders.

One of the jars had a crack in it while the other jar was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of her long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked jar arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half jars of water.

Of course, the perfect jar was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked jar was ashamed of its own imperfection, and was miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of perceiving itself to be a bitter failure, the cracked jar spoke to the woman one day by the stream. 'I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.'

The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other jar's side?'

'That is because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.'

'For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table at my house.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.'

My friends, each of us has our own unique flaw. But it is the cracks and flaws in our lives that cause us to throw ourselves into the Grace of our Lord. He then fills our lives and makes us Fruitful.

We just have to take each person we meet for what they are and look for the good that God has put in them.

SO, to all of my fellow cracked and broken friends, let us Serve the Lord with Gladness of Heart, and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

MY VERY FIRST CHRISTMAS (INCARCERATED IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL)

As the old song goes “It’s the Most Wonderful time of the year”. I love the Christmas season with all it’s traditions and festivities!

I remember my very first Christmas. I had received the Lord Jesus in early December 1975, and not long after that I found myself in the Psychiatric Ward of a Military Hospital for leaving Islam and coming to Jesus.

Being a new believer, all I knew was that Christmas was the “Birthday of the Lord Jesus”. I had thus saved up a little cupcake and a couple of cookies to celebrate the Birthday of my Savior.

Christmas morning came, Dec 25th 1975. I took out the Cupcake, the cookies and a glass of “Rooh Afza” (A sweet fruit drink) to celebrate the Lord’s Birthday. I first read the Christmas Story from the Gospel of Luke, then I just “talked to Jesus” (I had not yet been taught on this thing called “prayer”, so I just used to “talked to Jesus”!), thanked Him for saving me. Then I sang “Happy Birthday” and bit into His “Birthday Cake” (The cupcake).

As I did so, the Presence of Jesus suddenly filled the cell that I was in. There I was, surrounded by iron bars, but in fact I was Free! I was soaring high above my difficulties; they seemed to be like nothing because Jesus had set me Free!

Today, 35 years later I have a home, a family and we are blessed to live in a land where nobody is going to imprison me for believing in Jesus or for preaching the Gospel. My circumstances have changed, and the Lord has blessed us with material things. I don’t have to use an old cupcake to Celebrate Jesus; I can go and get a nice Christmas Tree and cook up a big feast if I wish to.

But it was not in a nice home with a big Turkey on the table, but in a Cell in a Mental Hospital with an old cupcake that I experienced the powerful Presence of Jesus. It just tells me one thing, it is not material things or outward circumstances, but it is the state of the heart that God looks at. It is our love for Jesus, the passion and the zeal for Him that brings the Glory and the Presence down into our circumstances.

This Christmas is going to be a tough one for many people who have suffered financially. Instead of complaining, let us be Thankful that we are Saved, that we are Free! Free to worship Jesus! Free to serve Him! And after that, let us go a step farther and think of others. At Thanksgiving Dinner last month Britta and I sat down with our children and we decided that this year we would forego Christmas Gifts and instead give all the money to families in our church who I know cannot afford to buy nice gifts for their children.

You see, we are a Blessed people, we know Jesus, He loves us and we already have so much in this life. Let this be a time when we return to our First Love, when our hearts are re-ignited with a passion for Jesus and for His Gospel, when “things” don’t mean that much to us anymore!

Let us be thankful, thoughtful of others; let us rise up to take the Gospel of our Wonderful Lord Jesus to the ends of the Earth, to those who have never experienced Him, to those who have never experienced this wonderful Joy and freedom that Christmas brings!

KADOMA, ZIMBABWE - VICTORY FOR THE GOSPEL!

KADOMA, ZIMBABWE CRUSADE – THE GLORIES OF CALVARY AND OF PENTECOST!

I just arrived in Sweden after finishing our Ninth Africa Gospel Crusade of the year, held in Kadoma, Zimbabwe.

This was a very successful Crusade with huge crowds coming out to hear the Gospel, and with tens of thousands of people receiving the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior every night.

Many wonderful and remarkable things took place during this Crusade. On Saturday for example, it had rained for much of the day and when we had started the service, it began to rain again. In spite of the inclement weather there was great excitement and a huge crowd had gathered to hear the Gospel. As it began to rain, I was concerned about our Sound Equipment (which had been quite damaged by moisture a couple of years ago in Zambia after we went on with a service in pouring rain) and decided to cancel the service.

As Pastor Mavondo, our Director of Ops in Africa, picked up the microphone and began to make the announcement the crowd began to shout. “NO! NO! PREACH ABOUT JESUS!”….. the announcement turned into a loud forceful prayer and a command to the rain to stop…… as the people (mostly non-Christians!) shouted, prayed and yelled….….and the rain suddenly stopped! So we went on and had a powerful service.

I was humbled and felt small because I realized that everybody else’s faith was greater than mine, and yet I was the one there whom God in his Great Mercy had chosen to preach the Gospel with Signs Following.

That night we saw many remarkable miracles and two very special ones. One was a young man who was born deaf and mute; Jesus touched him and he spoke and heard for the first time in his life. The other was a blind and paralyzed man who was carried to the crusade by his family and laid down upon the ground. He had been totally blind for many years and had been unable to walk for about 3 years. Jesus touched him, and he stood up and walked, he could also see perfectly….. you should have seen this man dancing and praising God! I am posting both these videos on Youtube and on Facebook.

Every night we were blessed to see huge multitudes of people receiving Jesus (There were also these little things that touched me, like one night when we were singing and worshiping a man came out of the crowd saying that he wanted to be Saved right there and then!) God also confirmed His Word with many Signs, Wonders and Miracles. Every night we saw deaf people receive their hearing. Blind people received their sight. Large tumors disappeared from people’s bodies, one of being a little girl who had a huge tumor as large as a woman’s breast hanging from her tummy. The thing disappeared instantly leaving behind a faint mark like a bruise where it once had been! We also saw lame and crippled people stand up and begin to walk.

The on the last night the Holy Ghost fell with Pentecostal Power, with thousands Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. People worshiping God in other tongues, shouting, praising….. some falling to the ground under the mighty Power of God….

For all this, we give all Glory Honor and Praise to our Lord Jesus, who Alone is Worthy. What a privilege it is to preach His Wonderful Gospel.

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life”. (2 Corinthians 2:14-16)

GLENVIEW CRUSADE ENDS - BACK HOME FROM AFRICA

Our Crusade in Glenview ended last Sunday, and I returned home a couple of days ago. We are thankful to the Lord for all that He has done..... the large Harvest of Souls that we could bring in for His Glory, the wonderful Miracles of Healing and Deliverance, the thousands Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire on the last night of the Crusade.

For this we give Him all the Glory, Honor and Praise, because He Alone is Worthy!

Now I am home for a few weeks before I head for Africa again. I shall minister for my friend Pastor Edwin Anderson in High Springs FL, then in Chatham Ontario in Canada for Pastor Bill Pipke. Finally for Pastor Ron Johnson in Orlando FL followed by two days at the Penn-Del District of the Assemblies of God (to which I belong) at our Minister's Enrichment Retreat.

I then fly to Africa, back to Zimbabwe for two Crusades in October in the towns of Chegutu and Kadoma, along with a School of Ministry for Pastors and a Businessmen's Seminar.

GLENVIEW ZIMBAWE CRUSADE - HOLY GHOST POWER MOVING IN OUR MIDST!

We are halfway through our Crusade in Glenview, Zimbabwe. The Lord is doing great things here in our midst!

The days are very warm here but the temperature drops sharply at sunset so the evenings have been quite chilly. In spite of the cold weather multitudes are coming out to hear the Gospel and are receiving the Lord Jesus.

We are also seeing the Lord pour out His Grace with signs, wonders and miracles. Every night we have seen deaf ears opened. We have also seen tumors disappearing, one of these cases was a lady who had a huge tumor in her throat that prevented her from being able to speak. She was scheduled for surgery on September 24th and the tumor would be removed. But Jesus healed her. The tumor disappeared and she began to speak perfectly!

Last night a young girl who was demon possessed, paralyzed, unable to walk and unable to speak was carried in by her family. Jesus set her completely free. She walked, ran and spoke perfectly! All Glory to Jesus!

What a Mighty God we serve! What a Wonderful Savior! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Glory be to His Name for ever!

Good 2nd Night in Glenview

Very cold evening but Thousands Saved tonight. A girl who could not walk and was demon-possessed was carried in and was totally healed and delivered. Deaf ears were opened. A lady had a huge tumor in her throat that impeded her speech. It disappeared and she had perfect speech. O how Wonderful our Lord Jesus is! Praise Him!

THE MBARE CRUSADE CONTINUES WITH POWER!

The Mbare crusade continues with the power of God flowing every night. Thousands are receiving the Lord Jesus every night, and God is confirming His Word with Signs, Wonders and Miracles.

So far we have seen many deaf ears opened, eyesight healed including a boy who could see only dimly for about 4 feet and was otherwise blind.... we saw how the Lord gave him perfect sight! A lady who could barely walk and limped along very slowly ran for joy. Another young man whose knee was useless and he would fall down every couple of steps was totally healed. Many others have testified of different things that the Lord has done for them.

One delightful thing for me after tonight's service was to see Charmaine. She was a little girl who came to our last Crusade here in Mbare 2 years ago, blind and demon-possessed (I will give her story in detail in our October Newsletter). I cast the demons out of her and she received her sight. She came to the meeting tonight, happy and following Jesus. What a joy to see her tonight (See photo).

SOME THOUGHTS ON ISLAM AND SHARIA - FOR US CHRISTIANS

I grew up as a Muslim. I joined the military at 13. At 17 years of age I saw war and bloodshed and became a combat veteran, and after that my dream was to become what we in my world called a "Freedom Fighter" (a.k.a a "Terrorist").

When I was 21, an Englishman shared about Jesus Christ with me on the street and I received Him as my Lord and Savior. When I look at the attitude of most Christians towards Muslims today, I thank God that Jesus loved me and He sent somebody out to where I was; Not to kill sinners like me, but to preach the Gospel to me.

That Englismman, a son of one of the wealthiest men in England, went out to the streets that day praying and pleading with God for "just one soul for Jesus". I was that one soul!

I was arrested for sharing my Faith in Christ on the streets and spent almost one year in prison. After my release I was threatened with execution if I did not go back into Islam. I finally escaped and after a long journey ended up in Sweden where I received political asylum. Almost 17 years ago my wife, children and I immigrated to the USA.

I preach the Gospel today and plant churches. Around a Million people come to Jesus every year through our crusades and over 1000 churches have been planted. All Glory to our Lord Jesus!

The bottom line is this, that because of the Overwhelming Abundance of Grace that I have received I cannot hate sinners. I cannot hate Muslims and I cannot hate Jews either. God has called us Christians to be Salt and Light in this world. When our minds get so blinded and darkened by Nationalism, Fear or Politics that it even overshadows our passion to reach the lost; When the Love of Jesus for sinners does not consume us, or that the Healing Delivering Power of the Holy Spirit does not flow through us, something is seriously wrong with us as a people.

When our fear or loathing of Islam and Sharia is greater than our desire to take the Gospel to those who are bound by that spirit, something has gone wrong with us!

Let us draw close to Jesus, and remember: "We cannot say that we are fully yielded to God until we begin to count the Eternal Destiny of sinners as being of greater importance than our own comfort in this life"

The Lord Bless us all and Ignite us with Holy Ghost Fire!

THE LORD DELIVERED US FROM DEATH YESTERDAY:

"The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them". Psalm 34:7

My wife Britta, our two younger children Victoria and Gabriel, and I were traveling in a rented Volvo 70S on the E-4 European Expressway in the North of Sweden. We were going up to Lulea where my wife grew up. Traveling Northbound at about 65 miles an hour, I lost control of the car. I do not remember exactly what happened, but eyewitnesses say that the car went across the Southbound lanes, hit the guardrail on the other side, flipped over, rolled around and landed on it's roof.

I remember shouting "JESUS!" and Britta and our children doing the same. The kids were the first ones out of the car, and they pulled my wife out. I was on the other side and the door was jammed and I could not get out. The car was upside down and I could smell gasoline fumes. The next thing I knew, I was standing outside the car on the road.

Many cars and a DHL truck stopped, and the people were all running towards us to help us. Within 30 seconds, before anyone could reach us, we were all out of the wreck with just a few bumps, bruises and small cuts.

Flames were coming out of one corner of the upside-down car, and the DHL truck-driver brought a fire extinguisher and put the fire out. EMS, Firemen and the Police all came to help. Everybody, including the many Good Samaritans who had stopped, were very kind and helped us. Except for my son's Gabriel's spectacles, we lost nothing at all.

We were taken to a modern hospital in the nearest city 70 kms away, and the doctors checked us, took X-Rays, CAT Scans and Blood tests, and finally released us with a clean bill of health. Thank the Lord for the World-Class Medical facilities available in Sweden! The hospital staff also went out of their way to put us at ease.

Everybody, including the EMS Paramedics said that this was a miracle. We are thankful to the Lord for all that He has done for us. This accident could have easily had fatal consequences, but the Lord saved us. We were inches and seconds from death but the Lord delivered us!

Praise the Lord for His Goodness and His Mercy! Hallelujah!

We rented another car and drove almost 475 kms today up to Lulea. On the way we stopped and ministered to friends of ours for a few hours.

Thank you Lord Jesus!

There are several things that I would like to share with you:

1. In our family we all have a habit of praying and pleading the Blood of Jesus every time we drive our cars. This is a habit that brings Protection!

2. Your life can be taken away from one moment to the next. Never take things for granted but ALWAYS Trust in the Lord in all things. Live as close to Jesus as you possibly can!

3. Always wear your Seat Belt, including passengers in the back!

4. Always Observe Speed Limits.

5. Never drive when you are tired or when your concentration is not sharp.

And most of all, TRUST ALWAYS IN JESUS!

A lady with partial paralysis in her legs ran and jumped. A young man with a dislocated knee ran perfectly. Others testified also. All glory to our Lord Jesus! AFRICAN PENTECOST! CHAWAMA CRUSADE ENDS.

We just finished the Chawama Crusade. A huge multitude had gathered tonight - the final night of this crusade. Tonight was Holy Ghost Night: we usually pray for people to receive the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and Fire on the final night of every crusade.

I preached tonight about the Blood of our Lord Jesus. I always do this on Holy Ghost night because I know that the Blood always brings down the Glory. God always answers the Blood with Fire! In the Bible the Fire of God never fell upon dry altars, but always upon Blood-soaked altars. If we want the Fire of God to fall, we must make much of, sing, shout and preach about the Cross and the Blood of our Lord Jesus!

The response to the altar call for Salvation was fantastic. The whole field, and even people standing across the field, wanted to receive the Lord Jesus.

After that the Fire of the Lord fell with Pentecostal Power. Thousands upon thousands were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. Beautiful, tear-stained African faces turned up towards Heaven, worshiping God in other tongues, their shouts and praises ascending to the very Throne of God. The Lord responded by unleashing Wave upon Wave of his Glory upon the gathered multitude. All the way to the back of the huge crowd, the whole field seemed ablaze with the Fire of God.

Then The Lord healed the sick and the infirm. Deaf ears were opened, people's eyes were healed, tumors disappeared.... one lady testified that a huge fibroid tumor the size of an orange had completely vanished from her as Jesus touched her. Another young girl, crippled and unable to walk was carried in on a wheelbarrow; Jesus touched her and she walked and danced upon the platform, pushing her wheelbarrow in front of her as the crowd cheered shouted with boundless joy. Yet another young man paralyzed and unable to walk, got up and walked....

My dear friend Pastor John Nuzzo stood alongside me. I am glad that he could see the fruit of all the generous support that his church has been giving us all these years.

Such was the end of this crusade. This week we have been up on the mountaintops of victory, but also in the valley of sorrow at the death of the son of our brother Pastor Zulu. Yet we know in all things that our Lord is Faithful. Pastor Zulu's son is in Heaven with Jesus. Especially poignant for me is the fact that Pastor Zulu was Saved at one of our crusades here in Zambia many years ago. There are so many Pastors and Evangelists in Zambia and Zimbabwe who received Salvation in our Crusades through the years. It is a privilege to serve the Lord alongside them, even to weep with them and share their victories and even their sorrows.

TRAGEDY IN THE MIDST OF VICTORY!

We saw a wonderful Harvest of Souls tonight. A Deaf-mute girl heard and spoke for the first time in her life, a boy totally blind in one eye saw perfectly. A lady who was mute spoke, deaf ears were opened and more.....

We ended a successful Pastor's Conference today with Pastor John Nuzzo.

A great tragedy also took place at the crusade. Immediately after one of the crusade services one night, a fight broke out between some people. A 21 year old son of Pastor Zulu (a friend of our ministry who had received Jesus in one of our Crusades many years ago) tried to intervene and was stabbed by one of the men. He died immediately.

This is all so very sad! Pastor John Nuzzo, Pastor Mavondo and I visited the family to pray with them. The sound of people crying in sorrow in that house broke our hearts.

Such are the places we preach the Gospel in. Where sin abounds, there Grace much more abounds.

Please pray for Pastor Zulu and his family!

MID-CRUSADE REPORT FROM THE CHAWAMA, ZAMBIA CRUSADE: SALVATION, HEALING AND DELIVERANCE LIKE A MIGHTY FLOOD!

The Power and the Grace of our Lord continue to flow at the Chawama Crusade. We have reached the mid-point of this 5-night Gospel Crusade. Multitudes are receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and The Lord is pouring out His Grace through Wonderful Healings and Deliverance.

Demon-possessed people are falling to the ground screaming and the devils coming out of them because of the power of the Wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus!

We are seeing the Lord do so many wonderful miracles. A woman totally blind received her sight. Another lady who was paralyzed in one arm and leg and was almost totally blind after a stroke (she could only dimly see an arm's length in front of her), was totally healed! Many deaf ears are being opened and many are testifying of receiving healing from different kinds of diseases and infirmities.

My dear friend and brother Pastor John Nuzzo has brought a group of 18 eager people from his church who are helping us. They are ministering to the people at the crusade and at the Children's Crusade with great faith and God is using them in a wonderful way.

Surely our Lord Jesus is the Same Yesterday, Today and For ever! What a Wonderful Savior we serve; all Glory to Him for all things, because He alone is Worthy!

Two more nights to go! This is Harvest Time! Hallelujah!

CHAWAMA HARVEST BEGINS!

We started our Gospel Crusade in Chawama, Zambia tonight. A huge multitude came out this first night, braving the cold weather to stand for hours and sing and dance with us and listen to the Gospel message. I preached from John 3:14-17. This huge multitude responded wholeheartedly to the altar call and gave their hearts to Jesus.

After that the Lord did many wonderful miracles. Amongst other things many deaf ears were opened, a lady with a large tumor inside her mouth testified to how the tumor instantly disappeared under the Power of God. Another lady testified that she was almost blind and saw only a couple of feet in front of her. Jesus healed her and gave her perfect sight!

Many others also testified of what the Lord had done for them. It was a wonderful beginning to this crusade! Helping my team and me in this crusade are 18 members from victory family Church in Cranberry Twp PA, the students of the Gospel Training Institute in Lusaka, and some friends from Sweden and Switzerland.

The George Crusade ends with a Huge Harvest of Souls, with Miracles and Holy Ghost Fire!

We just ended our Crusade in George, Zambia. We have seen and experienced 6 days of the Glory of God coming over this poor dusty town in Zambia. The Gospel message went forth and brought conviction into the hearts of huge multitudes of people every single night, and we saw these multitudes turn away from their sins and to the Living Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ who alone is the giver of Life eternal and can make all things new! All Glory to our Lord Jesus!

Every night we have seen wonderful miracles that our Lord has done to confirm His Word. We have seen the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear and many others healed from many different diseases and infirmities.

Tonight was the last night and a huge crowd was present to hear the Gospel. A great mass of people received the Lord Jesus. After that the Holy Ghost Fell upon the crowd and some thousands of people were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire, speaking and worshiping God in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. After that literally hundreds of people were healed…. The most outstanding of these being a little 10 year old girl who was paralyzed in half her body and had never been able to stand up or to walk; she stood up and was brought up to the platform by her sister and she walked for the first time in front of the gathered multitude (see photo). Another lady had been totally blind in one eye for 10 years and Jesus restored her sight fully. Several deaf ears were opened and many others also came to testify about other things that the Lord had done for them.

We therefore leave George with a great harvest of souls for our Lord Jesus. For this we are most humbled and thankful.

What a wonderful Jesus we serve!

We spend Monday and Tuesday moving our truck and 22 tons of equipment to the town of Chawama where our next crusade begins on Wednesday. Do put your faith out for this crusade as you did for this one that we just finished! Let us again believe God for a great harvest of souls for Jesus!

On Wednesday we also begin a School of Ministry for Pastors. Several hundred Pastors are expected, including 30 of Pastors from our own AWAKE Churches in Zimbabwe, Mocambique, Botswana and South Africa. My dear friend pastor John Nuzzo shall be our main speaker at this conference. We do this conference every year together with our friend Pastor and Missionary Walker Schurz who pastors the great Miracle Life Church in Lusaka Zambia. Walker and his church normally make the arrangements but this year they asked us to make the arrangements for this Conference.

THE POWER OF GOD CONTINUES TO FALL IN GEORGE, ZAMBIA

We just did the 4th night of our crusade in George, Zambia. The Gospel is going forth with great power and huge multitudes have received the Lord Jesus every night. Since my last report the day before yesterday we have seen the Lord continue to pour out His Grace through Salvation, Healings, Miracles and Deliverance. Tonight I preached about the deliverance of the demon-possessed man from the Gadarenes. After the altar call as I prayed for the sick, demon possessed people in the crowd began to fall screaming to the ground as the devils came out of them. Nothing can stand against the mighty Name of our Lord Jesus! Demons tremble at the very mention of His Name!

Last night and tonight we saw our Lord do many wonderful miracles. A lady came to me after the service and asked me to pray over a prayer cloth. It was for her brother who had been stricken with Tetanus that was out of control and had spread throughout his body. He was in the Intensive Care Unit of the local hospital and was dying. As a last ditch effort the doctors were planning to operate on him the next morning. I prayed over the cloth and she went straight to the hospital and put the prayer cloth on him. Yesterday morning, after he had been wheeled into the surgery the doctors were shocked to see that Jesus had healed him and that he was perfectly whole. The released him immediately and sent him home!

Another young man came hobbling on a crutch to the crusade tonight. His right leg was paralyzed and he had not been able to stand or walk for 5 years – Jesus touched him! He took off running, jumping and shouting for joy to the cheers of the crowd!

In addition to this we have seen God open many deaf ears, several blind eyes and heal a multitude of others from many other diseases and infirmities. People are eagerly and joyfully testifying of the wonderful things that the Lord has done for them.

For all this we give all Glory, Honor and Praise to our Lord Jesus. What a priceless privilege it is to serve Him in the Fire of the Holy Ghost!

Thank you for joining your Faith together with us through your love, support and prayers. All the faith, prayer and finances that you have sown into these crusades are bearing much fruit to the Glory of God. Multitudes of Souls are coming into the Kingdom and great is your reward, both in Heavenly and in Earthly things!

2nd Night’s Report from GEORGE, ZAMBIA

It is always wonderful to come back to Africa. I love the people, the dust, the sky, the sounds and the smells of this wonderful continent. Jesus shed His Precious Blood for the precious people here and we much preach the Gospel until the last chain is broken!!

On my way here I stopped over in Singapore to teach at Pastor Kong Hee’s City Harvest Bible School. They have 700 eager on-fire students from all over Asia, more than 100 of whom are from the People’s Republic of China.!

We just finished the second night of our Crusade in George Zambia. A huge multitude received the Lord Jesus tonight and the Lord confirmed His Word with Signs following. Many deaf ears were opened, a couple of blind people received their sight and many others were healed from different kinds of injuries, diseases and infirmities. Many people lined up tonight to testify of the wonderful things that the Lord had done for them!

All Glory to our Lord Jesus, who Alone is Worthy!

We are just at the beginning of this crusade. Next week we have yet another crusade plus a large School of Ministry for Pastors. Hundreds of Pastors are coming, including 30 of our AWAKE Pastors from Zimbabwe, Mocambique, South Africa and Botswana.

FIRE FROM HEAVEN ON LAST NIGHT OF THE SETE DE SETEMBRO CRUSADE!

Tonight was our last night in Sete de Setembro. A huge multitude was present to hear the Gospel message. In this very rowdy town the crowd listened very respectfully as I preached on the Name of Jesus. Great conviction came upon the people and they responded to the altar call for Salvation and gave their lives to Jesus.

After that the Fire of the Lord Fell, and Thousands were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire, worshiping and Praising God in other tongues. After that la large multitude raised their hands to indicate that they had been healed as Jesus touched them (This is just a rough estimate by a frail human being; the only accurate Book-keeping of such things is in Heaven!). Large tumors disappeared, deaf ears and blind eyes were opened, people with injuries and different diseases were healed.

This has been a very good crusade and we have been able to reap a large harvest of souls. That is the important thing, the "bottom line" as one would put it.

The Lord has given great grace and confirmed His Word with an incredibly large number of Signs Wonders and Miracles. Every night scores of people have lined up to testify. We have seen many deaf-mute, mute and deaf people healed by the power of our Lord Jesus. Blind eyes have been opened, tumors have vanished, many have been healed from severe injuries and from different diseases and infirmities.

We give our Wonderful Lord Jesus the Glory, Honor and Praise for all that He has done. We are so humbled and thankful for His Presence in our midst. We also had a very Blessed Pastors' Conference this week.

My team and I leave for Zimbabwe in the morning for our annual convention of our AWAKE Churches. I wear different hats preaching in large open-air crusades, planting churches, overseeing over 325 churches, training up church-planters and pastors. Do uphold my team and me in prayer that the Lord would keep us bold, strong and full of Faith and Holy Ghost Fire!

OUTPOURING OF MIRACLES! MID CRUSADE REPORT FROM SETTE DE SETEMBRO MOCAMBIQUE!

We are halfway through the Sette De Setembro Crusade. God is moving mightily in our midst. Multitudes are coming out to hear the Gospel and responding to the Gospel message by giving their lives to our Lord Jesus!

The Lord is also pouring out His Grace through Signs, Wonders and Miracles. Since my last report we have seen many deaf ears open, two people who were born mute begin to speak for the first time in their lives. They articulated every word perfectly!

The most outstanding miracle that the Lord has done so far was a little girl who was paralyzed, unable to walk or to stand. God healed her; she stood up and she walked!

Paralyzed arms have been healed, people with injuries suffered in traffic accidents have been healed. Many have come up to testify of the things that our Wonderful Lord Jesus has done for them!

Janey held a successful Children's Crusade with over 500 children in each meeting. The Pastors' School of Ministry is going well!

Do continue to uphold us in prayer!

SETTE DE SETEMBRO CRUSADE: 1st Night - We had a Good start tonight! I preached from Jn 3:14-17. A very large multitude- thousands of people came out to hear the Gospel and received Jesus.

Many deaf ears were opened. A man bedridden and unable to walk was brought to the Crusade by his brother. Jesus touched him; He got up jumping and running! Another man who had severe back injuries after a car accident was fully healed and regained full movement. He too, was running and jumping.

Many others came testifed of the wonderful miracles that our Lord Jesus had done for them.

All Glory to our Wonderful Lord Jesus!

Do uphold us in Prayer for the rest of this Crusade, that we would see a large harvest of souls and many people healed and set free!

A GLORIOUS ENDING TO THE CHIMOIO MOCAMBIQUE CRUSADE

We just ended our Crusade in Chimoio Mocambique. Once again the crowd swelled and grew this night. I preached on "The Name of Jesus" The Word of God went forth with great power and thousands gave their lives to the Lord Jesus.

The Lord gave great Grace and confirmed His Word with Signs, wonders and miracles. Many deaf ears were opened. A lady totally blind for many years was brought to the crusade by her son. Jesus opened her eyes and she saw perfectly. She followed me around the platform as the crowd shouted for joy. Another girl who was almost totally blind and could barely see only a foot or so ahead of her also received her sight. A couple of crippled people walked, but we did not have them come up and testify because although they were walking (which they could not before) they were still slow and not "totally"l healed (We only let perfectly "totally" healed people come up to testify- it is a matter of integrity!). Many others came and testified of healing from different diseases and infirmities.

We are so thankful to our Lord for all that He has done in people's lives this week. All Glory to Him alone!

Uphold us in prayer for our next Crusade in the township of Sete De Setembro!

Thousands Saved tonight... and so many miracles! A schoolteacher who had become mute was touched by Jesus and spoke, laughing and praising God. Many deaf ears (wholly and partial) were opened. A boy almost fully blind received his sight. Others with severely impaired eyesight were healed. A man who could not walk because of a partially paralyzed back was healed, a couple of ladies who could only move with difficulty ran and danced. There were so many more testimonies! I am writing this from Thailand, with a heavy heart. I just returned a few hours ago from Burma where I met with our team. From here I leave for Africa for two Crusades and a School of Ministry in Mocambique.

I want to inform you about a tragic and ongoing situation for which we need your prayers and your support.

One of our Church-Planters Pastor Hnin Hnin Htay and her husband Pastor Aung Kham, planted a church in the remote community of Kyu Inn in Northern Shan State. We have actually three churches in three different towns in the area.

Hnin Hnin Htay and her husband planted this church and it began to grow as God did many mighty miracles of healing and deliverance through their ministry and many people came to Jesus as a result.
These new believers in their newfound love for Jesus forsook Buddhism and destroyed their Buddha idols and shrines that they had previously worshipped. This did not go down well with the monks at the local monastery who reported them to the local military authorities. The military and some local Buddhist thugs then attacked the Christians, beat them up, destroyed their property and threw them out of the town. These believers subsist on farming and so they went to their fields. They were attacked there also and forced to flee to the jungles, where they are right now.

It was during these events that Pastor Hnin Hnin Tay, our brave soul-winner, church-planter and Pastor’s wife was gang-raped by the thugs. Her mother, also a church-planter and Pastor with a tremendous healing ministry, was spared because of her age.

Over 100 Christians from 20 families have lost their homes and everything they own and are now out in the jungle without shelter. We need to do something about this immediately!

I had $2000 earmarked for our Church-planting School that I have released for immediate help for these suffering brethren. Our teams are going to go out to help them.

With the rainy monsoon season around corner we need to build simple houses for these 20 families. For $500 each (Total $ 10,000) we can build simple huts for these families. Then we need more funds for clothing, cooking utensils, food and for their other immediate needs! Total I am trusting God for $20,000 to help our suffering brethren.

FAITH THAT FLOWS FROM GRACE

God had decreed in His Word, “Now the just shall live by faith…” (Hebrews 10:38).

This exhortation tells us that we who belong to Jesus should not merely act in faith when the need for faith arises, but that we should live our lives immersed in faith. Living a life of Faith is one of the very foundations of the Christian life. To live by faith would therefore mean breathing faith, thinking faith, speaking faith, acting faith, walking faith, and so on - literally every aspect of our lives being based and grounded in the spirit of Faith.

Our faith rests upon and flows from that which the Lord Jesus did for us upon the Cross of Calvary, and upon the Writ of the Word of God. The Bible declares:

“Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5

In other words, upon the Cross the Lord Jesus bore upon Himself our sins, our diseases, and the curses that were upon our lives so that we may be righteous, healed, free and blessed.

This is what faith is for; to enable us to appropriate these and every other blessing that Christ has purchased for us with His own blood, so that they no longer remain as theological truths and phrases printed on paper but as living and dynamic truths in our earthly lives. By faith we can take possession of the things which Jesus has purchased for us at the Cross.

I have noticed through my years in ministry that people carry one of two different perceptions of faith. In other words, there are two different ways in which faith is taught, preached and practiced. Both of these perceptions or ways are deceptively similar in many ways, but they are in reality very different from each other. Only one of them is right.

One of these is what I would call “legalistic” faith or “law-based” faith. This is when the believer believes that he can possess God’s blessings only by exercising what he calls the “laws of faith”. The whole idea is that of God being in a passive state who stands at the sidelines watching us as we go through the motions and spiritual gymnastics of faith. Once he is impressed that we have gone through all the motions of faith, he would then see to it that the miracle that we have asked him for happens.

In this “law-based faith”, the believer believes that the main factor which ultimately produces miracles in his life is his own ability to believe, to confess, to hold fast to his confession, etc. Although confession and these things are Biblical principles, his faith leans more upon his own going through the motions of faith than it does upon Jesus. HE is the active one, whilst God is passive. The “burden” unfortunately is on him, and not on Jesus. The results appear to depend more upon him and his ability to pray, believe, and confess, rather than upon the love and mercy of our Lord Jesus.
In this “philosophy of faith”, what appears to be “faith” is actually nothing but “works”.

The other approach is true Biblical faith. This is what I like to call “Grace-based faith”. Grace and works are opposites of each other. We live either by Grace or by works. Many Christians try to make a convenient “mix” of the two, which NEVER works, because the two just cannot mix. It is either one or the other.

After all, the Bible does say, “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” Romans 11:6

Works-based faith may give some limited results because God’s Word, even spoken or exercised under a legalistic mind-set is still God’s Word. But on the whole this kind of faith usually brings only disappointment and failure.

Now let us understand what Grace-based faith is. Before doing so let us take a look at Strong’s definition of “Grace” or what the Bible means when it says that we are “under Grace”. The word “Grace” is the Greek word “Charis” which means the following:

“God’s unmerited favor. The merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues. The spiritual condition of one governed by the power of divine grace.”

Wow!

In other words, true Grace is the power of God’s Holy influence working in the hearts of people and drawing them close to Jesus. Grace, as many people erroneously assume, is NOT a passive attitude of spiritual laziness, complacency, or neglect of God and His Word. Grace is NOT a license for sin. Grace is the power of God working in man. When a person stands under God’s Grace it brings forth life, freedom, victory, holiness, healing, peace, and prosperity.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

Two things stand out in this verse:

1. Grace precedes faith. In other words, Grace comes before faith. This leads us to something that most people have never realized - that we cannot truly understand faith without first understanding Grace, because Grace always precedes faith. Grace is the bedrock upon which faith rests. To truly understand faith, we must first understand the Love and the Grace of God.

2. Faith is “not of ourselves.” In other words, faith too like Grace, is a gift of God. It is through Grace that God gives us the faith to appropriate all the blessings that Grace provides!

An easy way to understand this is through this allegory: God shows me a house that He owns and says, “I am selling you this wonderful house, but it will cost you XXX amount of money, which is far more than you could ever afford!” He then proceeds to give me the money so that I can use it to buy the house from Him. I may say that “I bought the house”, but did I really? It was, after all, He who gave me the money to appropriate it from Him!

Grace could also be described as the pipeline through which God freely and undeservedly pours down all His blessings to us. Faith is the pipeline that God through His Grace freely puts into our hearts. The purpose of this pipeline is to connect to the pipeline of His Grace. When we align and connect our pipeline of faith to God’s pipeline of Grace, God’s miracles begin to flow.

Grace is unmerited favor given to us just because of Jesus. Even faith, which follows Grace, is given to us by God as an act of God’s Grace. Do you know how He does this? “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

Notice that faith is not “produced” by us “working the Word”! On the contrary, faith “comes” as yet another gift of God’s Grace! This is how it works: as we live in God’s Word and immerse ourselves in it, we meet Jesus ( Who Himself is the Living Word) in His Written Word and see what He has done for us. God, by this act of His Grace, deposits faith in our hearts so that we can, by that same faith, lay hold of and appropriate the very things that we have seen in His Word.

This wonderful interaction of the Word, Grace, and Faith is pivotal to our Christian life. Paul said: “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:32

The Word of God is the “Word of God’s Grace”, also known as “the Word of Faith”. Grace working through God’s Word not only brings us faith, but also builds us up and brings us into the fullness of our inheritance in Christ.

Another wonderful thing about Grace is that it is for EVERYBODY! Nobody is left out, and then once we receive Grace, we receive faith too!

“And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” John 1:16-17

Grace also gives us “righteousness”, which does not mean fleshly perfection as some assume it does. Righteousness means “right standing” with God. This means that God accepts us and loves us just as we are. He looks at us in Jesus, as if we never sinned or failed in our lives. This in practical terms means that our own failures and imperfections are of no consequence when we are in Christ Jesus and walk with Him. God sees us just as He sees Jesus! Because of this we can walk with a clean conscience without guilt, and our faith is always powerful and always brings miraculous results. The Bible says:

“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17

When we live under Grace, faith and righteousness are not an issue because they are ours, given to us freely by our Lord. The problem is that man’s natural tendency is to turn to legalism. There is something about the natural man that, although he recognizes that he is saved by Grace, he feels he has to turn to legalism for Christian life and conduct. This is religion and not freedom in Christ. The Bible says:

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” Galatians 5:1, 4

Religion and legalism are more dangerous than we realize because they can actually put us in bondage and cause us to fall from Grace! That is why we have to fight the fight of faith - to fight against the tendencies of our flesh to go into the works of the law. We should fight to stay in Grace and in faith where we know that God’s favor abounds to people like us, not because we deserve anything, but we are blessed with all things only because of Jesus, and Jesus alone!

Lastly, True Grace makes us holy. I say “True Grace” because the concept of Grace has been so misinterpreted and misunderstood by some, that there are those who have come to believe that God’s Grace is a license to neglect godliness and even to indulge in the lusts of the flesh. True Grace is NOT lawlessness!

A man truly living under God’s Grace develops a mind-set that says, “God loves me so much, He has given me so much more than I could ever deserve in this life: Therefore I will never allow anything into my live that would cloud my communion with Him!”

Grace, Faith, Righteousness bearing rich fruit in our lives and in our ministries. This is true and wonderful living indeed!

A GLORIOUS ENDING TO THE ROSARIO CRUSADE

We just finished the Crusade in Rosario Argentina. The Crusade was arranged by my friend Pastor Norberto Carlini and his 6000 member Santuario de Fe Church. I have known Pastor Carlini, a wonderful man of God for over 22 years.

This was a small 5-night crusade held in a field owned by the church in the outskirts of town, but we saw many people come to Jesus, and many people were healed. Deaf ears were opened, blind eyes saw, tumors disappeared. A lady who was dying of cancer, all swollen due to liquid retention in her body, bedridden and unable to walk, was carried to the crusade. Jesus touched her, she stood up, walked, and all the swelling and other outward symptoms disappeared.

Another lady had all kinds of diseases and was unable to walk because of these. She heard me preach on the radio, and got up and walked and was totally healed. She came to the crusade to testify of all that the Lord had done for her.

Another lady testified that she had been unable to walk because her feet and toes were all twisted due to arthritis. Jesus healed her too. We heard many wonderful testimonies this week. All Glory to Jesus!

The mother of a professional Rugby player told me that his career was ruined last year due to a serious knee injury, but God had healed him in our last crusade a year ago, and now he was back playing professionally again in England, and was looking for a church there.

Pastor Carlini told me that a top leader of the Jehovah's Witnesses, overseeing 38 of their Congregations had been Saved at our Crusade and was now in his church.

We give Thanks and Praises to the Lord for the Priceless Privilege of being able to preach the Gospel to the lost. All Glory to Him! I was also able to hold a Leadership Seminar and did teaching on Prosperity and Financial Increase (For those of you who don't know, before I became a Crusade Evangelist, Church planter and Overseer I taught for 4 years at the largest Bible College in Europe! So i enjoy this stuff too! )

ROSARIO CRUSADE - FIRST NIGHT

What a service tonight! It was the first night. There was a really heavy thunderstorm storm last night, so things were late being set up and everything got delayed

Because of this the crowd was small on this first night, but I was amazed to see the response to the Gospel message. Many came to receive Jesus. The Lord confirmed His word with good and powerful miracles.

Three people with very bad sight were healed (one could only see blurs). 3 had their deaf ears opened. A young man was healed from a speech impediment

One lady came to the crusade that she could not walk but she listened to me preach over the radio and after we prayed on the radio she got up and walked! At the crusade the Lord opened her deaf ear.

A kid had a large tumor on his foot saw it disappear. Some testified of other things.... All Glory to our Lord Jesus!
My friends and fellow RHEMA Grads Gary and Amy Hector who minister here and are doing a great job are a great help and blessing to me. Amy is my interpreter this week.

She could not walk and had a host of other diseases. Jesus healed her when she listened to me preach over the Radio.

He had a large tumor on his foot that disappeared after prayer.

She had very bad eyesight and saw only blurs. Jesus gave her perfect sight!

A GREAT WAY TO START THE YEAR... WITH SALVATION AND MIRACLES

I am in Buenos Aires with my sons Immanuel and Gabriel. Had a wonderful day. It is the first Sunday of the year and it has been a great day!

Many people Saved, at least 8 deaf ears opened, around 8 with blind eyes or with very bad eyesight healed. One man who could not walk got up and walked. Many others who were healed shared their testimonies. What a great start for this year! It is so wonderful to serve Jesus!

All Glory to our Lord Jesus!

On Tuesday we fly to Rosario to our crusade there until next Sunday. Then back home for two days and then my daughter Victoria and I fly to Sweden for 10 days of ministry... preaching in churches and teaching at a Bible School.

We ate great good today! Codero Patagonia (Lamb), Bife de Lomo (Beef Filet), Mollejas (Sweetbreads), Asage del Tire (Short Ribs), Provoletta (Grilled Provolone with Herbs), Empanadas, Fresas Fresca Con Crema (Fresh Strawberries with Cream).

It has been a great day in Buenos Aires. Praise the Lord!

LET US GO INTO 2010 FULL OF FAITH, FIRE AND HE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY GHOST!

The end of the year 2009 is here and I am glad to be able to say that it has been a good and blessed year for us.

Once again, we have seen over a Million people make decisions for Jesus at our altar calls for Salvation. We have planted 10 new churches in Burma, and the 168 churches that we have so far planted there continue to thrive and to grow. We reached the milestone of seeing over 30,000 people receive the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and with Fire at one time in one single service. We saw the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear. We also saw the Lord raise a woman from the dead at one of our crusades.
The Lord has been Gracious and Faithful and we have been able to fulfill everything that He told us to do this year. In fact we did much more for the Gospel this year than we did last year.

For this we give all Glory to our Lord Jesus, who alone is Worthy to receive Glory, Honor and Praise!

We are living in tough and difficult times. The truth is that in such difficult times the Lord does not tell us to cut down our vision to match the size of the shrunken economy; On the contrary He bids us to press forwards and to do more for Him than ever before. This is because He is El Shaddai, the God who is “More than Enough!”

The economy has slowed down; but we have seen many of God’s people step up to make even greater sacrifices. Many, in spite of financial fears and difficulties, have reached deeper down in faith than ever before and made great sacrifices to enable us to continue to preach the Gospel to the lost.
To those friends and partners I say, “I am thankful for and commend your love and your faith, that you chose to put the Gospel above all things. Your faith shines as an example to us”. It reminds me of Gideon’s small band who were willing to give their all in the battlefield. Through their Faith and their fearless dedication God did mighty things through that small band that He would otherwise do using a mighty army!

This is the Christmas season. For us this is truly “The most wonderful time of the year”. Christmas in actuality is really about the Gospel because we remember and celebrate how God sent His only Son to the world to save the world.

But is the Christmas Story another beautiful legend or is it reality? If it is reality what does it really mean for us?

I remember my very first Christmas as a Christian. It was December 1975. I had just received Jesus and was eagerly telling everybody I knew about what Jesus had done for me. Because of this I had been confined to an Army Mental Institution. Christmas day came. I had stashed away a little cupcake and a small candle for the occasion. Coming out of Islam and not knowing Christian Christmas traditions, I did the best that I could under the circumstances. On that Christmas morning in the “cage” in which I was locked up, I lit the candle, read the Christmas Story aloud from the Bible and celebrated the Lord’s Birthday with the muffin.

As I bit into the cupcake, suddenly the Presence of God filled the place. Great peace filled my soul. It seemed to me that I was soaring above my circumstances, I was victorious above all things and received an assurance that better days were to come ahead.

Two weeks later I was out of the Mental Institution. I went out on the streets and began to preach the Gospel. A couple of months later I was arrested and imprisoned for this. The year was 1976 and I spent almost that entire year in prison. Upon my incarceration I was told that I was detained “until further orders” and that I would come out of prison “either as a Muslim or in a coffin”.

I told them that I would rather die there than go back to Islam.

Months passed and one day I sat down and took stock of my situation. There I was, in prison, having lost everything in this world. I asked the Lord, “Lord, I have made many mistakes in my life, and if my faith in Jesus is yet another one of my mistakes, I am the greatest fool of all and have indeed lost everything. So I need to know. I really really need to know….. If Jesus truly is the Son of God, if He is truly risen from the dead, if the Word of God is true, then I have won. I have won eternal life; I have won Heaven! So please God I need to know!”

At that very moment God answered. The Glory of God came into the prison cell. My bed began to shake with God’s Power. The Presence of Jesus filled that place and I heard a voice that said, “I was in prison, and ye came unto me” (Matthew 25:36). I began to weep. That day God circumcised my heart. I knew that Jesus was real. His Word was real. Heaven was more real than earth. The promises of God are more real than the things that we can see.

That day became a turning point in my life. God himself marked and circumcised my heart. Since that day I have known Jesus as a reality, as a person who lives in me and is always with me. I know that the Savior who I serve is far greater than all my circumstances, that His Grace is far greater than my faults and weaknesses. Since that day I have made my share of mistakes but I cannot remember a single day when I have not been On Fire for Jesus. Since that day I have never looked back.

And that is not because of me, but because of Jesus, because of what He has done for me.

Today I live in America, where I am free to worship God, free to preach the Gospel. I travel all over the world telling people about Jesus and people come out in huge multitudes to hear that beautiful Old Story about the Savior. And then God confirms that Message with Signs following, to show the world that Jesus is the Truth, that He is alive today!

Jesus came into our world. He became one of us. He paid the ultimate price upon the Cross. He Rose again from the dead. The Gospel is true beyond truth itself. The Word of God is true. Jesus is real! We are redeemed! We are more than conquerors through Him who has loved us!

So beloved, let us celebrate this Christmas triumphantly! Let us go into the New Year 2010 triumphantly, full of Faith that our God is able to bless us, prosper us and cause us to increase and to abound in all things! This is Harvest time. Joel said “Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe” (Joel 3:13).

Let us Preach this Glorious Gospel! Let us sow! Let us reap! Let us do the work of God with all our hearts! Let us celebrate this season with praises unto God. We are on the winning side and we can never fail, never lose. We are destined to win, to conquer. We are blessed to be blessings wherever we go!

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place”. (2 Corinthians 2:14)

ZIMBABWE VICTORY - NKULUMANE CRUSADE THURSDAY NIGHT

The Wonderful Blessings of God continue in Nkulumane. Tonight the crowd really grew in size and a huge multitude received Jesus. The Lords is continuing to confirm His Word with Signs, Wonders and Miracles.

The outstanding miracle on Wednesday night was a mute boy who spoke. On last night, which was Thursday night a few deaf ears were opened, including that of a man totally deaf in both ears, a totally blind woman received her sight and a lady with a huge lump in her right breast testified how the lump totally disappeared after prayer.

We are also seeing great blessings in our School of Ministry for Pastors, which is being attended by pastors both from our churches and from other denominations. Peter Hasler has been teaching on “The Life of Faith”. I have been teaching on “The Grace of God – Move your Pulpit from Sinai to Calvary!”
Do continue to uphold us in prayer. We have three nights to go in Nkulumane!

ZIMBABWE BLESSINGS CONTINUE!

Our Gospel Crusade in Nkulumane continues. God is pouring out His Grace in a wonderful way as the Gospel is being preached. Every night we are seeing masses of people receiving Jesus. Many have been healed from different kinds of diseases and infirmities. Blind and deaf people have been healed. People who have difficulties moving and walking have run and danced, and many others have testified of the things that the Lord has done for them. My friend Evangelist Stefan Edefors from Sweden has been helping by sharing the preaching with me at the Crusade.

We held a Family Fun Festival, with Jumping Castles, clowns, music, dance and singing competitions, Bible Quiz, Children’s Crusade etc. Thousands of children came and were touched by the Spirit of God. Our team and our friends from the US and the Netherlands worked hard and were most effective in reaching the children with the Gospel.

Our Pastors School of Ministry is starting today with Pastors of our AWAKE churches in attendance from Zimbabwe, Mocambique, Botswana and South Africa. My friend Pastor Peter Hasler from Switzerland has flown in to teach at this event.

Please do continue to uphold us in prayer both for the Crusade and for the School of Ministry!

VICTORY – NKULUMANE DAY 2

We have just finished the second night of our crusade in Nkulumane Zimbabwe. The Lord is moving mightily in our midst.

Our biggest challenge was that due to a government directive, we were forced to change our venue just 3 days before the crusade started, from a place right in the town center to a field just outside town.

In spite of this, large multitudes are coming out to hear the Gospel and in these first two nights we have reaped a great harvest of souls for Jesus. The Lord is also confirming His Word with wonderful miracles…. Deaf ears opening… crippled and paralyzed people healed. A lady whose feet were twisted in two directions and who could not walk began to run and dance praising God, a little baby boy whose arm was fractured was healed; Dr Doug Morrissey who is with us in our team checked and verified it. A lady who was paralyzed in one arm and leg after a stroke danced for joy.

Surely our Lord Jesus is showing Himself mighty in the midst of the people, and He is being greatly glorified. Do remember to continue to uphold us in prayer!

VICTORY REPORT – MPOPOMA CRUSADE ENDS

We just ended our crusade in Mpopoma, Zimbabwe. The last two nights have been powerful, with thousands coming to Jesus every night and our Lord confirming his Word with Signs, Wonders and Miracles.

In addition to the multitudes of Salvation decisions, we have seen crippled people get up and walk, blind eyes open and deaf ears open. Many were healed on the last night, of which the two most outstanding testimonies were those of a man who was paralyzed after a stroke. Immediately after the mass prayer for God’s healing power to touch the sick he took of running, laughing and rejoicing (See photo). Then a lady came up to testify who had a huge lump/tumor in her left breast. It was so large that it had caused the breast to swell to twice its size. After prayer it disappeared completely and instantly and she could not feel it there anymore (See photo).

At the end the Holy Ghost fell and many were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. The crusade finally ended with much dancing, shouting and rejoicing (See photo)

From Zimbabwe I fly to Sweden to do a meeting this coming Tuesday. Then back home to Lancaster on Thursday. Next Sunday-Tuesday I shall minister in Pastor Tim Kutz’s church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

I am back again in Nkulumane Zimbabwe for a long 13 day crusade Oct 13-25. People are coming from the US and Europe to attend this crusade. We shall also hold a large 3-day School of Ministry attended by pastors from several different countries. We shall also hold a Businessmen’s Seminar and a Children’s Fun Festival with preaching, ministry and lots of fun activities for children.

Another fantastic night at the Mpopoma Crusade. Thousands of souls received Jesus, crippled people running and dancing, deaf ears opened, a couple of almost fully blind people healed, a little boy with many large growths on his neck saw them disappear. We added an extra day to the School of Ministry for our Pastors. It has been wonderful! One more night to go, then I fly to Sweden for a meeting, then home sweet home!

VICTORY REPORT ZIMBABWE – MPOPOMA CRUSADE 3rd NIGHT.

The Lord is moving mightily amongst us in the Mpopoma Crusade. Thousands are coming to Jesus and we are seeing the Power of our Lord Jesus manifested through signs, wonders and miracles. Many people are lining up to testify every night of all the wonderful things that the Lord is doing for them. Another astounding thing is the large number of Pastors coming from all over to witness the crusade.
There is a Spirit of Revival here. Jesus is being exalted by the people even in the streets of Mpopoma.
Our three day Pastors School of Ministry just ended with our Pastors attending from Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana. They have gone back to their churches excited about the things that the Lord is going to do in their churches.

I visited our Farm in Kadoma. We have a good team there. Our new Borehole/Well has been dug. Soon we shall be plowing, disking and sowing (using rental equipment) in 250 Acres of our land. This would be a good place for us to start. The total cost for bringing 250 Acres under cultivation is $55,000 which includes rental of tractors and equipment, labor, seed and fertilizer. Of the $55,000 we have $12,000 already; this means that we need $42,000 more by October 1 to get this off the ground.

The quicker we get the Farm going, the quicker we can get the Orphanage going (and the Church-Planting School to!). Right now we have only 11 orphans at the Farm taken care of by the ministry but you will soon see what great things our Lord shall do!

Our friends Archie and Lili Kohr in Rohoboath Beach Delaware are holding a fundraiser to which mostly non-Christians are coming. It is amazing to see how non-Christians are showing an interest in this Farm and Orphanage Project. We need more Christians and Churches to step up too!

MZILIKAZI ZIMBABWE – End of Crusade Report.

The Mzilikazi Crusade just ended with powerful manifestations of the Lord’s Presence and Power. As I had mentioned in my last report, it was a small crusade because we were in between the two worst places for violent crimes in Bulawayo, and people were very afraid to venture out of their homes after dark. Added to this was the very cold weather in the evenings. In spite of these factors we saw thousands of people come to Jesus and many Baptized with the Holy Ghost on the last night. We saw criminals try to disrupt the crusade, but we warned and dealt very strongly with the troublemakers. One man came armed and attacked one of our workers, but our team subdued him very quickly, disarmed him and handed him to the police. It turned out that this man was part of an extremely violent gang and was wanted for many crimes! The police were most grateful. Unfortunately, there was no reward for turning him in (just kidding…… I do much better as a preacher than a bounty hunter!)!!!

We saw the Lord do many miracles in the last three evenings since my last report……..
An 18 year old girl who was born deaf and mute was brought to the crusade. Jesus touched her; she began to hear and to speak, repeating what I spoke. The crowd erupted into cheers, shouting and praising God.

A young woman who had a stroke and was brought paralyzed in her left arm and leg. Our Lord Jesus touched her and she was healed. Then there was a blind lady who received her sight. A young girl who was “almost” totally blind (she would be called “legally blind” in the US) also received her sight.

Several others who were more or less crippled and could not move or walk without support/help ran and danced for joy. One young men had been paralyzed in his right leg because of cancer in that leg. God healed him. He leaped, ran and danced for joy! Many deaf ears were opened, a lady testified that a large tumor in her hand had instantly and totally disappeared. There were many other outstanding miracles that are too numerous to report here.

All Glory to our Lord Jesus! What a Wonderful Savior we serve! Let us stay close to Him, Love Him, follow Him and serve Him with all our hearts! Hallelujah!

VICTORY REPORT - MZILIKAZI – SECOND NIGHT REPORT

The Mzilikazi crusade is on. The crusade is actually being held at the junction of Mzilikazi and Makokoba, two of the “worst” townships in the Bulawayo Area when it comes to violent crime. As a consequence, people are afraid to leave their homes at night. This crusade therefore is not as large as some of our other crusades, but in a sense it is very important because people here badly need the Gospel. This is the first ever large Gospel Outreach in this area.

Thousands of people have heard the Gospel and have received our Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior. In addition to this we are seeing the Lord do many wonderful miracles in our midst. In these two nights we have seen four crippled people get up and and walk. One of these was a lady who had been bound in a wheelchair for 5 years. When the Power of God touched her, she stood up from her wheelchair, began to walk and then to dance and rejoice to the cheers of the crowd. Another man had become crippled after a medication that he had been given for treatment from another disease went wrong. He had been crippled and unable to walk for two years. Jesus healed him and he ran and danced.

We have seen a good number of deaf people receive their hearing. Some with severely impaired eyesight have received their sight and many others have testified of other miracles that the Lord had done for them. One lady had her right arm useless and paralyzed for many years and the Lord healed her.

Do keep us in prayer and stand in faith with us for a great harvest of souls for Jesus!

IMPORTANT REPORT FROM OUR ZIMBABWE FARM AND ORPHANAGE PROJECT

I am in Africa right now, holding two Crusades and a School of Ministry in Zimbabwe. My team and I are expecting great things from God!

I am sharing here with my Facebook friends a VERY IMPORTANT Report. It is the latest on our Farm, Orphanage and Church-Planting School project in Zimbabwe.

Aaron Zimmerman, a full-time farmer here in Lancaster PA where I live, visited our Farm and inspected the place in detail. He has written a very good short Report from his viewpoint as an experienced professional. I am attaching his report for you to read. Please read it carefully; I am open to any feedback or input that you have.

AARON ZIMMERMAN'S REPORT:

I talked with different people in my travels and it looks like it is a new day in Zimbabwe. The testimonies I heard in South Africa and on the plane was that Zimbabwe is full of great potential and good people. After meeting Pastor Mavondo, Pastor Christopher Alam’s Director of Operations in Africa, I can feel confident that he is a good man of integrity and that his knowledge in agriculture and his excitement for the Farm, Orphanage and Church=Planting School ministry will bring successes. The soil is very hard thus requiring large equipment but I saw nearby farms there that have irrigation and the crops are good. The economy is looking better, the stores have stock again and they now work with US dollars.

Equipment:
Tractors and Farm Equipment are cheaper to buy in neighboring South Africa, and there are no Importation or Customs taxes in crossing the border. There are good maintenance service facilities in Zimbabwe to do repair work. Just stay away from equipment that is computer controlled.
In South Africa there has been a shakedown in Agriculture. They have gone down from 80,000 farms to 20,000, so this has put some equipment on the market. It costs $2500 to truck equipment from South Africa to Zimbabwe. I gave Pastor M. some dealer magazines that I picked up in South Africa. I recommend that he or someone that he trusts go and buy what they need. Pastor Mavondo seemed to know and to understand farming equipment.

In South Africa I found a John Deere dealer, AFGRI, www.afrgi.co.za . They seemed very professional, friendly and helpful and they are part of a network of 80 dealerships. They can provide parts and would be good guys to deal with. I have several photos of their large inventory.

Wells:
Irrigation Boreholes/Wells are needed for irrigation purposes. There are 3 existing boreholes but they have only 2” pipes and are good for gardening only.

Gold Mining:
There are 64 men that are working in the mines. Some have had to stop due to the water in several of the mines and in others hitting hard rock. There they need a jack hammer and some explosives.
They hit water in three of the eight mines where they are digging for gold and this needs to be pumped out before these 3 can go on mining. This should be pumped into a reservoir for irrigation use. Just pumping it out on the land will only create wet spots that will become waste land and it is very likely that the other mines will produce water also. For this water pump is needed urgently.
The wages system is structured that the miners get 50% of the income minus the costs of equipment and hauling to get ore to the processing system, leaving them with about 20-30%.
I recommend that money be sent to buy water pumps, compressors, jack hammers explosives and a means to reserve water ASAP.

Seed etc:
Farmers can’t get loans so many are planting less acres thus making the seed supply plenteous. Less acres means less grains at the end of the season which should help to keep grain prices high and storage space at the mill should not be a problem. The place grain would be unloaded is around 2-3 miles from fields. Grain is mostly bought by the government but also privately owned mills and so on, this should help to keep prices strong. Barley $600, corn $800, and soy $800-1000 per metric tons.

Management:
There are I think 5 people on the board or management team and all have extensive experience the departments that they are to oversee. Pastor Mavondo gave up his right hand equipment driver from his own farm for this project. This man was trained to be an equipment dealer and I am confident after watching him operate some of the equipment that he will take good care of anything sent there. There is also a team of 16 men on security most of them wear more than one hat.
Gold Separating site:

They should be ready in about a week or less to start. There could be some unforeseen things to work out. The men have been digging for 3 weeks and have a pile of ore ready.

A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY IN ZIMBABWE! - LATEST NEWS ON THE AFRICA FARM PROJECT

Dear Brothers and Sisters

Greetings in Jesus Name!

As you have heard, AWAKE Churches of Africa have come under our ministry. So I along with my leadership team now oversee over 100 churches in Zimbabwe, Mocambique, Botswana and South Africa. AWAKE Churches have also brought with them a huge Farm of 400 Hectares (1000 Acres) which they had purchased 18 years ago. It has been lying idle for years, but now we can do something with it! We want to grow food in it and start an Orphanage and a one-year Church-Planting School that would be supported by the income from the Farm. The Zimbabwe government likes our idea and have offered us THREE Farms for similar projects! I have, however, said that we want to do this one first before taking on any more such projects.

Our Farm in Zimbabwe is 400 Hectares (1000 Acres), of which 650 Acres are ready for tilling. The food situation in Zimbabwe is very dire, and I want our farm to be fully productive as soon as possible. I have in Zimbabwe a team of experienced agronomists with farming experience (from our churches) who are excited and ready to run this project. I also have an “Advisory Team” of agronomists here in the US to advise us.

If we were to bring the WHOLE FARM under cultivation in this coming sowing season in October, what we would need is US$370,000 right now.

US$ 200,000 For Tractors, Combines, Spreaders, Plows etc
US$ 70,000 for Boreholes wells and irrigation pipes. They cost US$ 10,000 each
US$ 100,000 for seed, fertilizers and build basic infrastructure on the Farm.

Once the farm becomes productive, we can go on to build the Orphanage and the Church Planting School.

But realistically, it is too short time for us to get these funds, so we want to do as much as we possibly can with whatever funds we can get by October!

I already have US$ 10,000 set aside for 1 Borehole Well and Irrigation pipes.

The good news is that we have gold in the land. This has been verified by Government Mining Experts who have come and inspected the farm. Our Farm is right in the middle of Zimbabwe’s “Mineral belt”. Another good thing is that the gold deposits are not too deep in the earth. We do not have to dig far to get it!

For around US$20,000 We can get the necessary equipment and begin to mine the gold immediately. The profits from the gold will go straight into the Farm so that we can start farming in October. We can rent tractors etc for the time being until we get our own equipment.

The quicker we start farming, the quicker we can go on to build the Orphanage and the Church-Planting school. God is telling us to dream big and to expect great things from Him! We shall win souls and plant churches all throughout the Southern and South-Central African region. We shall feed the poor and feed the needy!

Whatever you could help us with would be a blessing to us. The more help we can get, the more we can do for the Kingdom of God. So please join your heart and your faith together with us!

Also note that this does not in any way infringe upon our primary calling to win souls for Jesus. Our Gospel Crusades continue with undiminished zeal, passion and vision to reach the lost with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus!

THE FIRE OF GOD BLAZES IN ZIMBABWE!

We just ended the Crusade in Chinotimba, Victoria Falls. It was a glorious ending to a powerful crusade.

The field was packed with a huge multitude of people. I preached from 1 Jn 3:8 about Lord Jesus’ death upon the Cross and His total victory over the devil. As I preached, demons began to manifest. Demon-possessed people began to scream and run around like madmen all over the field. One of them even climbed up to the platfirm like a monkey. My team took hold of them and began to cast the devils out of them.

When I finished preaching and gave the altar call, a huge multitude responded and received the Lord Jesus. Then it was time for the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. The Holy Ghost fell upon the crowd with violent power. People were falling, shouting, jumping….. the praises of God in other tongues rose to the heavens like a mighty roar from the crowd. God sent even more fire; it was as if the whole field was ablaze with the Glory of God. During this time there were troublemakers way back at the rear of the crowd who were knocked down to the ground and demons began to come out of them…..

After that many people were healed. Deaf ears opened, tumors disappeared, paralysis, eyes, arms, legs, backs etc healed by God’s power.

The crusade ended with tens of thousands of people singing, dancing and praising God with all their might. It was revival!

After the meeting ended three senior nurses from the local hospital came and spoke to us. They said, “When you were here last time, you really cleaned up the hospital; so many of our patients were healed and released when you prayed for them. Ever since that crusade we have had very few patients at the hospital, in fact the general health of the townspeople has been far better. This is the power of the Gospel that has been preached over our town!”

We give all Glory, Honor and Praise to our Lord Jesus for all that He has done. He alone is Worthy!

Do continue to uphold us in prayer as we continue to preach the Gospel of our Wonderful Lord Jesus. I also ask you to pray for Gabriel; this was his last crusade with me and he shall be starting at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh a month from now. I am going to miss him a lot!

MIRACLES CONTINUE IN VICTORIA FALLS!

The Blessings of God are continuing to fall upon us! The Lord moved mightily last night. The Gospel of the Cross of Jesus went forth and a huge multitude received the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

After that the Lord confirmed His Word with Signs, Wonders and Miracles. A man who had become paralyzed, unable to walk and totally deaf in one ear after a stroke began to walk and dance after Jesus healed him from everything! A lady whose left arm had been paralyzed ever since she had been struck by lightning showed how the Lord had given her back full use of that arm. She was totally healed. Then there were deaf people who testified that their ears had been opened. Others came up and testifying of other healings and miracles that the Lord had done in their bodies.

The crowd shouted, rejoiced and danced at each testimony. Pentecostal meetings should be noisy and loud with much praising, shouting, singing and dancing with our Lord Jesus Preeminent in all things; and that is the way it always has been and always is at our Crusades. We are thankful to the lord for this Grace that He has bestowed upon us.

Our AWAKE Pastors at the conference have gone back to their churches inspired and Fired-up. There is great excitement here and we are on the verge of great blessings from God!

I also rejoice and thank the Lord for my friendship with Evangelist Stafan Edefors, a wonderful brother with a large heart for the gospel~

CHINOTIMBA VICTORIA FALLS - MID CRUSADE REPORT

I could not write a report earlier because of bad internet connections here in Zimbabwe. We are in the middle of our crusade in Chinotimba Township in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe.

The Lord is doing wonderful things in our midst. The field at the Chinotimba Marketplace is packed with people and we are seeing large multitudes receive the Lord Jesus every night. God is pouring out His Grace and confirming His Word with Signs Wonders and Miracles. The first night we saw a woman who was both deaf and lame get up and walk, waving and thanking God as the crowd cheered her on. Then last night we saw a man in a wheelchair for 7 years get up and walk and dance! In addition to this God has opened blind eyes and deaf ears, one man testified that he had very large tumors and fibroids that disappeared. Many miracles and healings of different kind are talking place. People are also being delivered from evil spirits.

The Crowd has been shouting, dancing and Praising God as they have seen the Miracles of our Wonderful Lord. Surely our Lord Jesus is the Same today!

Evangelist Stefan Edefors from Sweden is with me and we are ministering together. It is wonderful to share the platform with a brother who has the same Spirit and Holy Ghost Fire!

We also just finished meetings with the Regional Leaders of our AWAKE Churches. I ministered on "The Face of Jesus and the Glory the New Covenant" and on "Righteousness". Evangelist Stefan ministered on "God gives seed to the sower". The pastors are inspired, fired-up and excited!

I am also meeting with our team on the Farm Project in Zimbabwe. We have a huge task ahead of us, but the Lord is with us!

This crusade also marks the end of our son Gabriel's year of traveling with me. I am going to miss him; I love him so much, and it is going to be tough for me!

MARIMBA CRUSADE ENDS WITH AFRICAN PENTECOST!

MARIMBA CRUSADE ENDS.
HOLY GHOST FIRE FALLS UPON MARIMBA!

We just ended the Marimba Crusade. The last night’s service was most amazing. A huge multitude heard the Word of God preached from 1 John 3:8 “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil”. The people came under great conviction and we saw the multitude turn to Jesus and receive Him as their Lord and Savior.

After this the Fire of the Lord fell and countless thousands were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. It felt like a huge shock-wave hit the gathered multitude, there was an explosive release of Divine Power, and everywhere we looked people were falling, weeping, shaking, shouting in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance; a true manifestation of Pentecost. Even the choir singing on the platform was hit powerfully by the Holy Ghost. It was most amazing to see the way the Power of God moved upon the people.

After that the Lord healed a huge number of people. Blind and deaf people were healed, paralyzed limbs were made whole and large tumors instantly disappeared from people’s bodies. We ended the service by giving thanks and praise to our Wonderful Lord Jesus, who alone is worthy of all Glory, Honor and Praise.

What is privilege it is to serve Him! I often think of how far the Lord has brought me, from so far away out of the world of Islam, "We who were far have been brought near by the Blood of Jesus!". And not only that, but to have the priceless privilege of carrying this Glorious Gospel of Jesus all across the earth and to see Him sending down His Power and His Glory. Wonder of Wonders! what a privilege! Hallelujah to the Lamb who purchased us with His Blood!!

Absolutely priceless!

Do pray for us as we move our truck, vehicles and equipment across the Zambezi River to our next crusade beginning on Wednesday. We shall be in Chinotimba Township in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. It is going to be a busy week. I shall spend time with the leader of our Farm Project. The Regional Leaders of AWAKE, the Pentecostal denomination that I now lead, are coming for a Conference where I shall be teaching them every morning. Rev Stefan Edefors from Sweden is coming to help me with this. 25 AWAKE pastors are attending. They are coming from Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa and Mocambique. From what I hear, revival has broken loose among our churches in Mocambique and our people are planting churches faster than anyone can keep count!

We have just finished the third night of the Marimba Crusade. The Lord is doing wonderful things in our midst; huge multitudes are being Saved and many people are being healed. Many are being delivered from demons. When I call upon the mighty Name of our Lord Jesus, the demon-possessed in the crowd fall to the ground screaming and the devils leave them. Last night a group of Muslim fanatics came to the crusade. When they saw the demons coming out they got frightened and left in a hurry. Tonight an even larger group came, and they stood and listened to the Gospel message.

We are seeing deaf ears being opened, blind eyes see and lame people get up and walk. All Glory to our Lord Jesus, who alone is Worthy of Glory, honor and praise!

Our afternoon Children’s crusade led by Janey has been going very well too, with over 1000 children at every service!

MARIMBA, ZAMBIA CRUSADE - FIRST NIGHT - A BLAZE OF GOD'S GLORY!

Marimba is a large township outside of Livingstone, Zambia. Our Crusade started with a blaze of God's mighty Power in demonstration. I was extremely tired after 28 hours of flying Bangkok-Hong Kong-Johannesburg-Livingstone (plus the hours spent in transit) but the Spirit of the Lord refreshed me. I preached from Act 3 on "The Name of Jesus".

A huge crowd was present and we saw multitudes come under great conviction and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. After that the Lord confirmed His Word with Signs following: The lame walked (One of these was a little girl who became paralyzed in her legs after her own grandmother cast a spell of witchcraft upon her!), deaf people heard, a blind man received his sight and demon-possessed people were delivered by the Power that is in the Name that is above every Name - The Wonderful Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

OTHER NEWS. On my way to Africa, Brother William, our Director of Operations in Burma came to see me. Our Training Center for Church Planters is going full-swing. Several of the students are amongst those who were Saved during our relief efforts in the Cyclone-affected areas in the coastal region where over 600,000 died during that terrible catastrophe. One of our students had lost his wife and three children; He sensed the Call of God to leave everything and work full-time for the Gospel, planting a church in an unreached region of his nation.

Back home I often run into people upset at God for things so trivial compared to the loss that this man has suffered. Just imagine! He lost his wife and three children, and instead of being bitter at God he is moving on to lay down his own life to serve Him!

I feel very humbled and most unworthy to lead such dedicated men and women. I am sure that when we all get to Heaven these unsung Heroes of the Cross will shine the brightest, far more than those who wanted to be known as great in this world. I am blessed and humbled to have many people of such high caliber serving under my leadership in our ministry, and they continue to challenge me and my own commitment to our Lord Jesus and to the Gospel that He has entrusted unto us.

Pray for me that my family and I would continue preach the Word and live a life of love and sacrifice in a manner worthy of our Lord Jesus!

Blessings in Uppsala, Sweden!

Gabriel and I arrived in Sweden just before noon yesterday. We had left Harare about 24 hours earlier and had flown to Johannesburg. From Johannesburg it was an 11 hour flight to Frankfurt. Then from Frankfurt the final leg to Stockholm.

My beautiful daughter Victoria had flown in from the US to be with us. It was great to see her smiling face greet me at the door when we finally arrived at my friend Joakim's house where we are staying!

7 hours later I was standing preaching in a packed-out Korskyrkan in Uppsala. We had rented the church for this meeting. I have many old friends in Uppsala who wanted me to come and minister to them. That is why I came to Sweden. Faithfulness to one's friends is a most important thing in life.

Leading the worship was Birgitta Svensson, a pastor's daughter and old friend whom I had not seen for over 20 years!

As I looked over the crowd, I saw many old friends who i had not seen for 15-20 years. One was an old lady who was like an "adoptive mother" for me when I was a young refugee in Sweden. I used to go over to her house to eat with her at least twice or thrice a week. I had not seen her for 28 years!

I preached the Word of God to them, basically encouraging them to continue serving Jesus. Three people came forward to be Saved. This may seem nothing compared to the huge harvest that we saw in Africa last week. But in Sweden, three people coming to Jesus is considered to be something big.

After that I called forward those who had calling of God upon their lives but had gotten discouraged or had given up. Many came forward, knelt at the altar and wept. I laid hands on them and prayed for them. Unfortunately, for some reason there are lots of hurting and discouraged people in Uppsala.

Then we prayed for the sick. Several people came for prayer and were healed. One young lady came and testified about something that the Lord had done for her when I was there the last time. She said that she had a brain tumor which the doctors had removed. After the surgery she had lost her ability to read, and had lost her memory. She testified, "After you prayed for me the Lord healed me. That evening I went home and found out that I could read. I stayed up and read 60 pages and then went to sleep. Now my memory has come back and I am totally healed. Praise God!"

Praise the Lord, for He is good and His mercy endures for ever!

Tomorrow we fly to Paris where i minister Fri-Sat-Sun at the Centre Chretien Paris for my friends Pastors Selvaraj and Dorotheé Rajiah. They have a large and vibrant church and it is always a joy to preach there and enjoy fellowship with them!

MBARE-STODDART FINAL SERVICE: HOLY GHOST FIRE FALLS!

We just ended the Mbare-Stoddart Crusade with a powerful service. The field was covered with people for this final meeting. I preached from 1 Cor 1:18 “The Preaching of the Cross is foolishness unto those that perish, but unto us it is the Power of God”. Deep conviction came upon the people and a huge multitude received the Lord Jesus. After that the Power of the Lord fell and many were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. Many were healed after that and we ended the crusade with much rejoicing.

It is 1:30am now; we are very exhausted and about to go to bed (thus this very brief report!). Pack in the morning and then fly out to Sweden. After that three days of preaching in Paris, France for my friend Pastor Selvaraj Rajiah. After that I’ll be back home, ministering in churches in the US.

At the end of June it’ll be Singapore and then back to Africa for two crusades in Livingstone Zambia and Victoria Falls Zimbabwe.

We are thankful to the Lord for the large harvest of souls that we could bring into His Kingdom. Thank you for your love and your prayers.

The Final Service at Mbare-Stoddart

MBARE STODDART – FOURTH NIGHT: A RIVER OF SALVATION AND MIRACLES

We continue to see the miracles and the blessings of God continue to be manifested. Tonight I preached on John 3:14-15 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life”.

The power of God touched the people; a huge multitude received Jesus and God did wonderful miracles to confirm His Word…… In addition to people being healed from deafness and from different kinds of infirmities, we had a lady who was blind who received her sight. After Jesus opened her eyes, she went totally wild, dancing, jumping, shouting and praising God. Another lady was crippled and bent over double. Jesus healed her too and she just could not stop dancing!

We all laughed a lot, rejoiced and praised God and enjoyed watching these two ladies on the platform. Both were so caught up in their joy that they just could not stop dancing! They were both quite elderly, but they danced and jumped around like youngsters!

All Glory to Jesus!

Mbare is a high-crime area, and we are seeing a breakthrough. We actually held a crusade here in the past in which two leading crime personalities gave their lives to Jesus. One was a leading drug dealer. The other was a gang-leader. Both are serving God and are in church today. The Gospel with Signs Following gives us great influence, and we must use this influence to draw people to Jesus!

The Fourth Night's Crowd

Jesus healed this this totally blind old lady.
She got so excited that she began to shout
and dance praising God with all her might!!

This old lady was crippled and bent over double.
Jesus healed her. She came dancing up to the platform
and could not stop! Her we can see her dancing and praising
God after she testified of what the Lord had done for her.

IN ZIMBABWE - THE CRIPPLED DANCE, THE BLIND SEE, THE DEAF HEAR!

Our God continues to move with His power over the people of Mbare-Stoddart. The crowd grew even more tonight. I preached 1 Jn 3:8 “For this cause was the Son of God revealed, that He might destroy the works of the devil”

The Power of God fell upon the people. A huge multitude received the Lord Jesus. Then the Lord gave great Grace and confirmed the Word with Signs following. Among the outstanding testimonies tonight…. Deaf ears were opened, a young mother whose left hand was paralyzed ever since she was a child was healed. A totally blind lady who was led to the crusade by her daughter received perfect sight. An elderly man who could barely walk with a stick and was totally blind in one eye and almost totally blind in the other was healed…. He danced for joy and smiled like a million Dollars! A lady who could not walk without her crutch dropped it and ran and danced!

The State Run Zimbabwe Television filmed the service tonight and shall be telecasting it nationwide. This way the whole nation shall not only HEAR, but shall also SEE the Gospel with the demonstration of God’s Power!

Surely our Blessed Lord Jesus is the Same today as He was 2000 years ago! Let us give Him Glory, Honor, and Praise for all this. He alone is worthy of Glory, Honor and Praise!

MBARE STODDART SECOND NIGHT – THE BLESSINGS CONTINUE!

The Mbare-Stoddart Crusade continues. The crowd doubled in size the second night. The Gospel went forth with great power and a huge multitude received Jesus.

God confirmed His Word with His miracle-working power: Demon-possessed people were delivered, deaf ears were opened. A couple of people who had severe deficiencies with their eyesight were healed. A lady whose left arm hung paralyzed and useless for years was healed by God’s power. Others testified of different kinds of diseases and infirmities that the Lord healed them from.

Yesterday I reported about a 13 year-old girl from last night, Charmaine, who began to hear demonic voices and became demon-possessed and totally blind. We cast the demons out of her and she got her sight back….. well, she came to see me all happy and praising God! We took a nice picture of her standing with me and smiling.

Praise the Lord for His Mercy! Do uphold us in prayer as we continue to preach the Gospel to bring in a great harvest of souls for our Lord Jesus!

MBARE-STODDART – FIRST NIGHT - AN AMAZING CASE OF DELIVERANCE!

We have just finished the opening night of the Mbare-Stoddart Crusade in Zimbabwe. We had a good first-night crowd. The Lord moved in a great way upon the people; thousands received the Lord Jesus and a number of people were healed from different diseases. Amongst these were deaf people who received their hearing and a woman whose left arm had been paralyzed. God healed her arm and she could move it perfectly.

After the service ended I heard a lot of shouting and crying from behind the platform. I went to check what was going on…. It was a 13 year old girl. During the service she had begun to hear demonic voices in her ears and had suddenly gone totally blind. She was crying hysterically. I decided that I was not going to let her go home like that. We cast the demons out of her in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, and prayed for her eyes. The devils left her and she regained her sight perfectly and could even read small print from a distance.

What a wonderful Lord and Savior we serve, our Blessed Lord Jesus! All Glory unto Him for ever!

MBARE-RUFARO CRUSADE - Final Report

The Mbare-Rufaro Crusade just ended on Sunday night. We are thankful for the wonderful works that the Lord did in our midst. This was one of our smaller crusades, because it was held in the only available field in the area, outside of the far end of Mbare Township. The area was very needy and had never been touched by a gospel Crusade, so we went there to preach the Gospel to the people who lived there.

Every night we saw thousands of people brave the cold weather and come out to hear the Gospel; and every night we were blessed to see thousands receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We saw God do many miracles in our midst. On the last night, for example, we heard lots of testimonies…. A young boy brought his little cousin who was born deaf. He came with great faith and expectancy in his heart, and was not disappointed. Jesus healed his little cousin. A young man with AIDS, his body racked with great pain and his legs severely swollen up described how all is his pain and other outwards symptoms disappeared and his legs came back to normal. A lady then testified that she had heard of the crusade and traveled over 200 miles to attend; she had a tumor growing on her breast that had instantly disappeared. Another lady whose legs had been partially paralyzed danced for joy after the Lord healed her. There was a moment of great hilarity when a little boy who for months could only move with great difficulty after a leg injury danced demonstrating some of his “fancy footwork”. He was good!

Many other testified of the wonderful things that the Lord had done for them. Then the Holy Ghost fell upon the multitude and many were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire.

For all things, we give all the Glory, honor and Praise to our Lord Jesus!

This lady's legs were partially paralyzed and she had
a lot of difficulties moving. Jesus healed her and

This little boy had a leg injury that made it very hard for him

to walk and to get around. He had been this way for 5 months.

When Jesus healed him, he walked, ran and showed us some

of his amazing dancing skills. Talk about some fancy footwork!

I was jealous and wished that I could dance like him.

We all had a great laugh and praised God!

who was born deaf in both ears. He came with

Faith and expectation that Jesus would heal him.

Mbare-Rufaro, Zimbabwe: Mid-Crusade Report!

We are in the middle of our crusade in Mbare-Rufaro. It is very cold in the evenings, just a few degrees above freezing, certainly not the ideal situation for an open-air crusade. Yet in spite of this and the people’s lack of adequate winter clothing, thousands are coming to hear the Gospel and are receiving Jesus. God is also confirming His Word with many wonderful miracles. So far we have seen the Lord open deaf ears every night, last night a girl with a paralyzed arm was healed. Some with severely impaired eyesight and a boy who could not see with one eye have been healed. A lady who had a large cancer testified how God has healed her and that the thing had disappeared. Several others who had great difficulties walking ran and leaped for Joy.

What a wonderful Jesus we serve! All Glory to Him alone who is worthy!

Do uphold us in prayer. Let us believe for a great harvest of souls for Jesus!

30,000 BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST – LAST NIGHT OF CHAWAMA CRUSADE

Our Crusade in Chawama, Zambia ended tonight. It has been a week when we have seen the Glory of our God. Huge multitudes have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior every night, and God has poured forth His Grace with Signs, Wonders and Miracles in every single service.

Since my last mid-crusade report, the last two nights have been full of amazing miracles. What awonderful Savior we serve! Hallelujah! We have seen lame and paralyzed people get up and walk, blind eyes see, deaf ears open, tumors disappear, demon-possessed people being delivered, amongst many other things.

Tonight the Fire of the Lord fell, and around 30,000 people received the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. The whole field covered with the vast multitude seemed to be ablaze with Rivers of Fire flowing from down from Heaven. All over the field people were weeping, shouting, falling to the ground, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. As the Praises of God ascended to the Heavens, God answered with even more Fire; as it is written "The God who Answers with Fire, He is God!"

Jesus Christ was Glorified, and we can say that our Lord Jesus is loved and exalted in this town far more after this crusade, than He was before we came to Chawama!

The teams from RHEMA, State College AG and Swedish Pentecostal Churches stood side-by-side and helped me minister. God let them see many miracles of healing and deliverance as they laid hands upon the people. I believe that their lives have been changed for ever!

Thank you for your love, prayers and support. We are in a very tenuous financial situation right now. We have two crusades scheduled for Zimbabwe at the end of April, and we are around $30,000 in the red. Because of the present economic crisis our ministry income and church offerings have shrunk considerably and we need your help right now. Otherwise we might have to cancel our two Crusades in Zimbabwe in July. I say this with great pain in my heart, as we have never had to cancel a crusade before because of lack of funds. Each crusade costs us around $25,000, but we bring in over 100,000 souls for Jesus with that money. It is money well spent for the Kingdom of God!

THE POWER OF JESUS UNLEASHED – CHAWAMA CRUSADE BEGINS

We have just finished the Second night of our Crusade in Chawama, Zambia. It rained hard last night during the first service, but thousands stood in the rain to hear the Word of God, refusing to leave. We moved all our musical instruments away under cover and kept two microphones active for my interpreter and myself, and stood in the pouring rain, preaching the Gospel soaked to the bone.

Thousands were Saved and many were healed from different diseases, with especially many deaf receiving their hearing.

Tonight, the second night we saw an awesome move of God. Perfect weather and a huge crowd. A huge multitude responded to the altar call for Salvation. Then God gave great Grace and confirmed His Word with Signs, Wonders and miracles. Many deaf ears were opened, two ladies who were blind and could "see" only shadows received their sight. Two lame people walked. One was a man pushed in on a wheelbarrow. He had not stood or walked for 7 years. The other was a lady who was physically carried there by her family. You should have seen the way she began to run across the field, and then danced and Praised God! In addition to this several demon-possessed people were also set free by God's Power.

Many others also testified to having being healed from different diseases and infirmities. The teams from RHEMA, State College AG and the Swedish Pentecostal Churches actively helped in the ministry.

We serve a wonderful Jesus, saving sinners, healing the sick, and setting the captives Free! What a privilege it is to serve Him! You area great part in this through your prayers and your financial support

FINAL VICTORY REPORT –MANDEBVU CRUSADE

We just finished our crusade in Mandebvu, Zambia. It has been most exciting and the Spirit of the Lord has broken through the spiritual darkness that reigned over Mandebvu.

It rained on two of the last three nights of the crusade, but the people were so hungry for the Gospel that thousands stood in the rain and the cold to hear the Gospel. I preached with my clothes soaked; we saw multitudes come to Jesus and God confirm His Word with Signs Wonders and Miracles.

One most outstanding miracle was this that was told to me by Pastor Mavondo, our Director of Operations for Africa. We have not been able to get all the details as yet, but this is what we were told:

A lady came and told one of our team members that she lived in a house close to the field where the crusade was being held. Her mother, who was totally paralyzed and could not speak, had died. The family had gathered to see the body, to mourn and to make funeral arrangements. They were all crying. They could also hear me preaching in the distance, and then heard me praying for the sick. The lady said, “When Pastor Christopher began to pray for the paralyzed and said ‘Lord, send your Life and your Healing Virtue into the paralyzed bodies in Jesus Name!’ life suddenly came into my dead mother and she sat up. She came back to life and stood up! She went to the bathroom and took a shower, and ate afterwards!”

This is what our Lord Jesus can do! He the Savior of the lost, the Healer of the sick, the Deliverer of the oppressed. Even death has to loose its grip when we call upon that Wonderful and Mighty Name of our Lord Jesus! Hallelujah!

On the last night there was no rain. The field was packed with a sea of humanity and we saw a massive response to the altar call with a huge multitude receiving Jesus.

Then we prayed for the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. The Fire of the Lord fell upon the multitude and thousands upon thousands were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Tear-stained African face worshipping Jesus, people falling, shouting, weeping all over the place……

So ended our first Africa Crusade for 2009! All Glory to our Lord Jesus!

Thank you for your love and your prayers. We start our next crusade on Wednesday in the township of Chawama. We have several teams helping us. One from State College Assembly of God and another from RHEMA Bible Training Center. Then there is a team of 3 young Swedish Pentecostal missionaries who traveled down from Tanzania to help us in both crusades.

Do uphold us in prayer! Pray especially for good weather. This is supposed to be the dry season, but clouds have covered the entire Southern African region and it is raining. We need a miracle here!

MID CRUSADE VICTORY REPORT FROM MANDEBVU, ZAMBIA

Gabriel and I are in Mandebvu, Zambia, mid-way through our crusade here. The rainy season has just ended and this is our Africa Crusade for 2009.

Mandebvu is a very poor high-crime township outside the capital city of Lusaka. The evenings are cold, but huge crowds are coming out to hear the Gospel in every service and multiplied tens of thousands are receiving the Lord Jesus every night. The crowd was extremely rowdy and noisy on the first two nights, but the Spirit of the Lord has broken through.

We are seeing the Mighty Hand of God move in Mandebvu. God is confirming His Word with Signs, Wonders and Miracles. Deaf ears are being opened, paralyzed limbs are being healed and we have seen several people almost fully blind who have received their sight, in addition to many with other diseases and infirmities. In addition to this, many children are being Saved in the children's crusade that Janey is holding in the afternoon.

Do uphold us in prayer for the rest of this crusade and next week’s crusade in the township of Chawama.

On our way to Africa we stopped in Thailand where Brother William, our Director of Operations in Burma, came out to see us. He reported that as a result of our cyclone relief efforts and the evangelistic efforts by one of our main churches in Central Burma, 10 more churches have been planted. This brings the total number of churches started by our ministry in Burma to 152. All Glory to Jesus!

After that we also stopped over in Singapore where I preached in a church and did an evangelistic outreach night for another church reaching the Hindu community. Over 60 received the Lord Jesus in that service.

We slept in, and then went back to La Estancia for an awesome lunch of Chivito and Carne Asado....

Then in the evening we went to Pastor Juan Crudo's church to preach. The place was packed out with people. It was good to see Pastor Juan, his lovely ever-smiling wife and their 3 beautiful children after 15 years. His kids, who I had last seen when they were small, are all grown up, married and have children of their own.

What a joyous reunion!

Pastor Juan's dad, who used to pastor this church before him, went home to be with Jesus about 12 years ago. He was a wonderful man whose company I used to enjoy. He told me stries about Lester Sumrall when he came through as a young evangelist. The future Mrs Sumrall was then a young single Canadian missionary who played the piano in this church when Brother Sumrall first came through....

We had a great service this evening. Many people received the Lord Jesus. Many wanted God's healing touch. We began by praying for those who were deaf in one or both ears and Jesus touched them, in face, as far as I could tell, they were all healed! The crowd rejoiced and we then prayed for the rest. The power of God once again moved over the crowd. Many were healed, the people weeping and rejoicing.... but because of the density of the crowd inside the building we could not call people to come up and testify.

All Glory to our Wonderful Lord Jesus!

We are looking forwards to tomorrow (Sunday). Back to Pastor Crudo's church in the morning and in San Justo for an evening service.

Friday 02 Jan -ADVENTURES IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA!!!

We just flew into Buenos Aires from Washington Dulles on United Airlines.

We checked into the "Hotel Colon" (I JEST NOT!! - That is the actual name of the hotel! Actually it is not at all THAT funny...."Colon" is Spanish for "Columbus" as in Christopher Columbus!) The hotel is at the end of the famous Calle Llavage close to the Obelisk. We checked into our room and went straight out to my favorite place to eat in Buenos Aires, the La Estancia Parillada, just a few yards away from the hotel.

Gabriel asked for a small steak, and they came out with their "small" steak, a huge rare "Bife de Lomo" (Flame-grilled Fillet Steak) of at least 1.2 lb or 600 gms. And guess what, my son polished it off in no time. I got a taste, it was extremely melt-in-the-mouth tender.

The thing is that there is no such thing as a "small steak" in Argentina. The smallest steaks are what we would call "huge". This country is a carnivore's paradise and a vegan's worst nightmare!

They love their meat here!

I had a "Chivito al Asador" (Baby goat slow roasted over an open flame) - Crispy outside, and incredibly sweet, tender and tasty inside. YUMMY!!! Gabriel tasted it and announced "THIS is what I'll have for lunch tomorrow!

Argentina has the best beef in the world and it is very inexpensive too. The US will not allow the importation of the much superior and cheaper Argentinian beef because it would push US beef right out of the market and hurt American farmers. So one has no choice but to go overseas to taste this good stuff! Not only that but it is quite inexpensive to eat here.

For dinner we went to Pastor Claudio Freidzon's favourite place: The well known "El Palacio de la Papa Frita" (Translation: "The Palace of the French Fry"!!!) . The name of the place is deceptive, because this is actually a top-class steak house. They are world-famous for their amazing "Papas Souffle"- piping hot, freshly made , fried, thick cut slices of potato that are both crisp and "puffed up" like small pillows. An incredible accompaniment to a good steak. Gabriel and I did not fully understand the menu and we ordered for him what sounded like Short Ribs. What the waiter brought in was this huge very thick world-class melt-in-the-mouth T-bone steak of about 2.2 lbs or 1 kg. It cost only about $12!

I had a plate of tender "Mollejas" or Calf Sweetbreads. Incredibly tasty with a squeeze of lemon. Sweetbreads are the Thymus of small Calves and Lambs. The Thymus is a very tender organ in the throat of the small baby animal that disappears when the calf or lamb grows up. Incredibly delicious, and a much loved dish in Europe and South America.

I wish my America friends would shake off their squeamishness about foods that they are unfamiliar with and be adventurous. There is a lot out there that the Lord has made for us to enjoy!

We have a free day today, and I start preaching tomorrow in my old friends Pastor Juan Crudo's church. Juan Crudo pastors "Cristo La Solucion" a group of large churches that are part of the Swedish Assemblies of God. In fact, Juan Crudo's main church was the first Pentecostal church in Agrentina, pioneered by Swedish missionaries.

The interesting thing is that the Assemblies of God's powerful work in Brazil and Argentina was pioneered by Swedish Pentecostals. The AG in Brazil was pioneered first by brothers Berg and Vingren, Swedish emigrants to the US who were sent out as pioneer missionaries by the the American AG. They later on moved back to Sweden where their descendants live today.

There are TWO AGs in Argentina, the American AG and the Swedish AG, and they both work together quite seamlessly.

We are excited about what the Lord shall do here!

Mid-Crusade Report From Chipata, Zambia

We just finished the third night of our crusade in Chipata Compound, Zambia. The crowds have swelled and grown every night; huge dense masses of humanity packed together, standing for hours to hear the Gospel. This is winter in Africa, and we were blessed with warm weather last week. This week the days are pleasant but the evenings are cold. The people are mostly poor, many with no footwear or warm clothing, but this does not prevent them from coming to the crusade.

Huge multitudes are receiving the Lord Jesus every night, and God is confirming his Word with signs following. So far we have seen many deaf people healed, at least two blind people have received their sight, two paralyzed and lame boys have gotten up walking and running, tumors have disappeared and demon possessed people have been delivered.

With each testimony the crowds have responded with shouting and praises to God. The atmosphere in the crusade has been wonderful. My team is excited and we are excited about what God will do in the rest of the crusade!

We give all Glory to our Lord Jesus!

Prayer Request for May Crusades

Because of the present situation of uncertainty in Zimbabwe, we have moved our crusades in May from Zimbabwe to Zambia. Most of our team-members are in place in Zambia, while two are still in Zimbabwe getting some necessary repairs done on our truck. The truck is expected to leave Zimbabwe as soon as all things are ready.

Our Director of Operations for Africa Pastor Nicholas Mavondo is in Australia where his wife Loreen is giving birth to their first child.

We are expecting the container with 20 tons of food (Donated by the Convoy of Hope) to reach our base in Harare in the next few weeks. Our distribution network is ready and standing by to take and distribute the food to the needy.

I leave for Taiwan tomorrow to minister there over the weekend. From there onwards to visit our team in Asia, with stops in Thailand and Singapore, then on to our crusades in Zambia. On my way home I shall stop and minister in Switzerland. Pastor Chris Foster of New Life AG in Lancaster, PA is coming to one of these two crusades in Zambia.

One of our crusades in Zambia is sponsored and paid for. A couple of my friends stepped in and took care of some additional expenses.

Please do pray for the following:
= Pastor Mavondo and Loreen and their new baby.
= For my team as they prepare the crusades. Janey Menzies is leading the team right now in pastor Mavondo’s absence.
= For the cost of the second crusade to be taken care of. We need $15,000 as soon as possible!
= For at least 200,000 souls for Jesus in these two crusades, and for the Lord to confirms His Gospel with signs following.

March Final Victory Report - George, Zambia

Dear Friends,

I have just returned home from our crusade in George, Zambia. My heart is full of gratitude and praises unto the Lord for all the things that he has done.

We saw huge multitudes of souls come to Jesus. God gave great Grace and confirmed His Word with Signs, Wonders and Miracles. Every service was packed with wonderful testimonies of God’s healing power. We saw lame and paralyzed people carried to the crusade get up and walk, many deaf ears were opened, blind eyes began to see, tumors disappeared and many demon-possessed people were set free by the Power of the Name of our Lord Jesus.
One miracle that really gripped me was when a young mother testified of what the Lord had done for her baby. The baby had some kind of brain-damage and her neck was also paralyzed and immovable. The baby never made eye contact, never smiled and never responded in any way to her mother or to anybody else. On the first night of the crusade Jesus touched this little baby; the baby suddenly “came alive”. She smiled, followed her mother with her eyes, looked at and reached out to touch her mother; she made “baby-noises” and responded when her mother called her name. The mother rejoiced but her baby’s neck was still paralyzed and immovable. She kept on coming back to the crusade. Two nights later Jesus touched her again and the paralysis was gone. The baby was totally healed!

What a wonderful Jesus we serve! Hallelujah!

The crowd greatly rejoiced at each testimony every night, shouting, cheering and praising our Lord who alone is worthy of Glory, Honor and Praise.

On the last night, our “Holy Ghost Night”, the Lord told me to preach on the Blood of Jesus. I heard Him say “I always answer Blood with Fire!”

When it was time to minister the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God began to stir in the crowd even as I was instructing them. People began to speak in tongues even before I began to pray and then the Fire of the Lord fell. Over 20,000 people were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. The field seemed ablaze with the Glory of God. As the praises of God in other tongues ascended to the heavens, God responded with even more Fire. People were speaking in tongues, weeping, falling under the power, shouting….. It was indescribable!

That last service ended with uninhibited singing, praising, shouting and dancing. The huge field packed with humanity was alive and rocking with the praises of God. Nobody wanted to go home……

Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. I also want to thank Pastor Paul Grabill who is such a dear brother to me. His help and advice in my transition to the Assemblies of God has been invaluable. His congregation, the State College Assembly of God in State College, PA, has always received me most lovingly. It is this congregation that through their love and generosity have sponsored this crusade financially.

March Victory Report - George, Zambia

Dear friends,

The Lord is doing wonderful things here. We just finished the second night of our crusade. Tens of thousands received Jesus last night and then again tonight; the Lord has done great things.

Many deaf years have been opened, tumors disappearing and so much more. Last night a lady came running to the crusade from a house several hundred yards away. She had a three inch long bone that had been growing and protruding out front from her rib-cage. As she sat in her house and we prayed a mass-prayer for the sick, the bone disappeared instantly. She came running to testify!

Another lady who had been paralyzed for many years was brought to the crusade in a wheelbarrow. She got up and walked. Another lady also got up from her wheelchair.

So much has happened and we give all the Glory, Honor and Praise to our Lord Jesus, who alone is Worthy!

I want to thank Pastor Paul Grabill and the congregation at State College Assembly of God in State College, PA, who has sponsored this crusade through their love and generous support.

Do continue to believe God with us for a large harvest of souls for Jesus this week, with abundant signs, wonders and miracles to the Glory of God!

March Victory Report -Matero, Zambia

We just finished our crusade in Matero, a township outside of Lusaka, Zambia. It was a real battle but God gave us a great victory.

Violent crime was very high in Matero because of which many were afraid to come out at night. Added to this, the crusade venue was inconveniently located in a far corner of the town. Therefore only those who lived close by dared to come out to the crusade. One night a man was severely beaten up by gangsters while walking home from the crusade.

Although thousands of people were receiving the Lord Jesus in every service, we still sensed tremendous resistance and battled for a breakthrough. We kept pressing on with the Gospel. Breakthrough finally came on Sunday night, the last night of the crusade.

The power of Satan was broken, and the field was filled with a huge multitude that had come out to hear the Gospel. A huge multitude received Jesus; I saw street toughs and hardened types break down and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Then the Holy Ghost fell with great power and thousands were Baptized with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. After that many testified that they were healed. People with blindness, deaf ears, paralyzed limbs, tumors, pains, etc…. all rejoicing and testifying of the miracles that the Lord had done for them.
